Thanks for clearing this up. His professional opinion does not condone nor support the alleged charge. IMO, Corp. CYA public relations BS.

Or maybe this became to motivating reason to move on to private practice.

I know he stopped posting his surgery videos right around the time I had my surgery in June, makes me wonder if that move had something to do with this development.

The big question is, how much was he paid to write this letter and serve as an expert witness. Wake up guys, this is indeed a warning sign! Kramer did my surgery and I have ALOT to share about this guy! He’s a LIER!! He will lie to your face!!

He’s not suddenly leaving to stArt his own practice, WAKE UP! He was provided the option, RESIGN OR BE FIRED!!! Period!!!! Chesapeake Urology is embarrassed to have association with him! They’ve scrubbed him from their website. This is not the norm!

DD,

In order to not be thought a "liar" by the rest of us, you've got to put up or shut up. Many here have had many good things to say about Dr. Kramer. He's got a great track record, and that includes the personal care he's given to the out-of-town patients he's had. It is true that one's reputation is often made by the screw ups more than the good service given, but there needs to be some proof of that, otherwise it's only hearsay.

If you think it’s normal for a physician to suddenly resign overnight with no mention of his new practice you are living LaLa Land!! This man was PAID to be a subject matter expert in a RAPE case! He did not walk away willingly. And if you think he did, something is wrong with your ability to think. Resign or Be Fired was the option provided! Attempt to place your analytical hat on, just for a moment, and you will determine this scenario is not so kosher. There is no new practice! Of course he will now scramble to set one up, he has to make a living.

In current day America, you don't have to do anything wrong to be dropped in a heartbeat by your employer.

Chesapeake Urology has 850 employees, that makes it a pretty big corporation. Just a hint of controversy, in the form of an opinion given by one of their doctors, can be enough for the CEO to force you out immediately. It doesn't matter if your opinion is correct or incorrect, they don't want their business to be anywhere near political controversy. Just imagine, how scared they are to contemplate their parking lot filled with protesters calling them the "Rapists Doctors Group!" It might happen anyway, even with Kramer gone.

So, if you've got something specific, let's hear it, otherwise my take is that this is political correctness in action.
