Scheduled for implant next fortnight -Sti test ?

I’m scheduled for implant in next two weeks - aside from a covid test I have to do I haven’t been told to have any other tests - is it necessary to get screened for STIs ?

I did not have to have anything except show up for surgery when it came time for my implant surgery. Now I’m sure a Covid 19 test would be required. My surgery was pretty straight forward. Just show up for implant surgery. I hardly had any pain which is hard to understand bu5 it’s true.

My Doc tested me for everything any infectious disease and full blood test that was way before covid i have had a couple other surgery's since same thing i think its protocol in hospitals might night be private type places not sure

I had to get a surgery certification. Some of this was time sensitive. Blood and heart test. I was traveling for my surgery and had the tests done through my GP doc. And they sent the results to my surgeons office with in the time restraints. And I had to release my medical records from my GP and local urologist.
