The AMS pump buzzes when being deflated and to a degree it buzzes when the bulb is being squeezed. Perhaps this was what you experienced? Also if you were recently revised, it may be air that was still in the lines and cylinders making its way to the reservoir. The AMS liaison told me that ultimately it's impossible to prevent a little air from getting into the system when purging and ideally it should eventually make its way to the reservoir which is slightly permeable after which the air is absorbed into the man's body over some time.

i have noticed a "buzzing sensation" in my perineum area, and possibly in my penis at times. I attribute this to odd firing of the nerves in this area. Another implantee brought this up in the past, and he was keeping his implant inflated for long time periods, and his doctor speculated that maybe the nerves were getting ittirtated by that, so he stopped daily prolonged inflations and the buzzing went away.

For me, lately, this has gone away totally. I suspect it is "odd firing of nerve endings" by some irritated nerves that maybe are growing back. In my case, there was no relation to the pressure in the cylinders or the pump

Here's case in point to support TANGERINE's view... If you've ever used a vibrating massager or taken a long road-trip on a motorcycle, you may have experienced a similar effect. After a 200 mile road trip on my motorcycle back in the 80's and 90's, I remember my hands feeling like they were "vibrating" or as I called it, "ringing". The constant vibration from the road and engine, transmitted to my hands through the handlebar grips caused my nerves to get used to that stimulation and once it was gone, I still felt it as a sympathetic sensation. I experience a similar effect if I'm holding the head of a massage wand while trying to focus it's vibrations in certain areas. After I'm done, my hands still feel like they're vibrating.

But what vibration could my body be used to? I've never felt that sensation before. Thanks

I'm not saying that, I'm agreeing that it might be false nerve sensations. Whatever the cause, nerves can at times start to transmit anomalous signals, like the amputee who complains that his fingers on the amputated arm still hurt.

Whatever the cause is, you may be experiencing false signals for some reason. Maybe as previously explained, it might be from over-pumping or simply the nerves recovering from the trauma of the original surgery. Nerves can heal for many months, or years after trauma. The ventral side of my dick, right below the head is still a little numb. My scrotum is so numb in places that I can pluck hairs without even feeling it.

Waynetho thank you for clarifying. I really think this may be the cause. Great input!

I had the exact same thing happen with my titan at around month 3 or so. I was at my parents just sitting and suddenly felt this gurgling in my nut sac.

Left and went home and pumped up. Pumped up just fine. Stayed there for an hour and back down. Up and down several times. Called doc immediately monday. Told me to come in if I wanted but if all was normal to just enjoy it.

It kept working so I just kept using it it.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
