Won’t deflate

Got the go ahead to start cycling a week ago but I have not been able to deflate. I have the AMX LGX. I’m holding the deflate button 5 seconds as hard as I can. What am I doing wrong?

I have a follow up next week but hoping to figure this out sooner than that.

Does it deflate at all when you press the deflate button? I would consult the DVD in your packet if you have one. I will check mine.

I did not find anything on my DVD. If you are inflated all the way and cannot get any deflation I would put a call to the on call doctor for your urologist. If you just started cycling you should not stay inflated for extended amounts of time.

Thank you for checking. I’m probably 60% inflated. The doc deflated me at my last appointment. I inflated that evening to about where I am now and have been unable to deflate. I’ll give him a call in the morning

If you are still just 60% that is not bad. Not like 90 or 100%. As most all leave surgery partially inflated. Were you able to deflate in the doctors office?

Your valve may be stuck halfway between inflate and deflate. If you can feel the left and right sides of the BLOCK above the bulb, squeeze them together (as in, toward the deflate button). After you do that, try the deflate button again. Squeeze the cylinders while pressing the button and feel if the pump is "buzzing". If it's not pressing to release - try one more partial pump but not too much, you're not trying to put more saline into the cylinders, only move the valve. Then try the deflate button again. If all of these steps fail, check with your doctor or call the AMS Patient Liaison, the number is listed in your booklet.

exactly what I was going to answer with. I had to squeeze the sides of the block when mine was new.

I am curious, where is the deflate button, is it not on one of the sides of the block above the bulb? Or is it on the top side of the block?

squeeze your penis firmly as you depress the deflate button. Does that make a difference? I can squeeze most of the saline back to the reservoir but some of it eventually comes back on its own. My new "flaccid" is about a 50 percent hardon. Im used to it now and I like that my soft penis looks more impressive than before. The only other thing I can think of is that youre not finding the button. I had a lot of trouble at first because of the general swelling in the area.

Ok so the block has 6 sides. The front and back. The top and bottom. And the right and left side or ends. The deflate button is either in the middle of the front or back depending on which way it is facing. They are talking about squeezing the right and left side or ends in toward the deflate button. These sides are the smallest sides of the block as it is rectangle shaped.
