Diver Down, I think that there is just too many things happening early in the healing process. The penis will retract due to the surgery. Pain of the recovery. Trouble getting the pump to work right. It is just overwhelming sometimes.

Diver Down wrote:Heading toward an inflatable implant IPP and was curious how the implant effects arousal. Even with my ED when I get aroused by my wife ect I typically get what I would call a chubby particularly with low dose viagra.... Not erect but a tingle and blood flow to the penis filling it out IE the beginning of an erection which is my sign to check the wife's oven and if its a go I do my injection so we can slow cook- you get the idea :) .
When you have an IPP implant do still get those signals IE the tingle and blood flow (a chubby) indicating its time prime the pump so to speak? If so I would assume the implant would have to displace that inflow unless the implants are encapsulated and in that case I assume you would have no blood inflow. Thanks ev1

My dick tries hard to get erect... it does the little up and down dance but it does not (and cannot) get hard enough for penetration. :)

Before the implant my issue was not getting an erection, it was keeping it. My main concern was that I would loose that morning wood feeling or my glans engorgement. Luckily the morning after surgery I was surprised to wake up with what I considered morning wood. Although painful I was thrilled by it and that the head was swelling nicely. Six weeks out and was just activated but everything seems to be working fine. Still no regrets.

My experience differs from others, I definitely get the tingle and a half ‘Chubb’ whenever my girl gives me the ‘come on.’
I still get blood flow to the shaft and head and especially so when my partner ‘handles’ or sucks my cock.
This is over 3 years post-implant. I think I am one of the fortunate BB’s in as much as the whole process has me half way to where I was at age 58........still responsive to porn and physical stimulation but unable to sustain a full erection.....familiar story for many on here no doubt.
To answer the question directly: yes I do get aroused and my cock responds physically however obviously I still need to pump up for a fuck session.
Oh...and by the way my catch cry is always.....be patient..... I had to wait 3 years post op to be able to shoot loads into my GF’s pussy, I really didn’t see it happening, but one day boom..... :)

Great info from these responses, I am encouraged that its possible I will still get the fullness feeling that I now get. I think its as much for my wife as it is for me. I know that she likes to see and feel that she is making me plump IE giving me a semi. Even though I can not get erect enough to penetrate its a foreplay thing that I think we both like to experience. That said, if it does not happen for me we will adapt and I am sure the ability to get a rock hard erection on demand for as long as she wants would trump the foreplay chubby if it doesn't happen.

My girlfriend does not get the erectile response that I used to be able to provide before E.D., but she has noticed with great glee that my scrotum gives her signals as well as my nipples in response to her ministrations. So, plumpness and erection are pretty easy to spot indications of a man's arousal, but there are other, more subtle, signs of that as well.

Besides, indications of a man's ardor can be shown in thousands of non-sexual ways. It has been truly said that foreplay begins by helping her do the dishes.
