Crossover

Postby MK1965 » Sun Jul 05, 2020 12:06 am

Does this look like I have a cross over of my right RTE into left cavernosa?
My right cylinder makes almost 90 degrees turn 1 cm inside by penile base.
Had recently done pelvicxray.

Those "teardrop" shaped shadows aren't the shape of an implant. I've seen a few implant x-rays (most were malleables) and they never look like a teardrop like that. That image almost looks like it's in the position of the reservoir. As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure plastic, silicone and saline will show up on an x-ray, or at least very well.

Edit: I checked it again and I'm still not sure because the size of the shadows appears to be a bit larger than I think they should be for rear tips but they are below the pubic bone so maybe they are the tips. From what I can tell it looks like the right one (on left of image) crosses *UNDER* the left one (right side of image). Once again, I'm not sure though because the width of the two shadows looks to be wider than an implant rear-tip... even a Titan.

Why did you get the pelvic x-ray? Did you suspect an issue with your implant's placement? Is it not working properly?

Not a great picture. My best guess is the penis is slightly erect & pointing forward. I personally don't see enough landmarks for even a decent guess. Sorry.

Waynetho,
I went to spine doctor for my lumbar and pelvic bone pain.
He ordered xrays of lumbar spine and pelvis.
Reading radiologist mentioned posible incidental Crossover.
Problem I have but did not complain to my surgeon is: my right cylinder is kind of slowly deflating during intercourse. It is not to bad but I have to stop and add 2-3 pumps. For intercurse, I don’t use full inflation but about 70% because my wife don’t like it fully and maximally inflated.
Tomorrow, I am seeing my surgeon PA for my regular testosterone monitoring and I already have sent xrays to my implant surgeon.

I couldn't tell from the xray.

My first implant resulted in a cross and a revision a year (and a day) later. With mine, the "right balloon" went into the "left cavern" with the left balloon. About an inch out from the base, my dick took a 45 degree-ish left turn. It hurt, too. BUT I COULD FUCK!!!!!!!. If I wasn't completely inflated, I'd get "the dog ear). My "Ferrari" called it "the corner" and complained when she felt it. Did I mention: I COULD FUCK? Seven or eight months in, the pump migrated to a spot where I could no longer deflate. I stayed 50%ish for several months (BUT....yes, I could....). Revision solved all those problems, although my flaccid penis still wants to curl down and to the left.

I, like many others, wish I'd discovered this forum sooner. Dr Perito would have done my FIRST implant instead of my second.

And, whatever else has happened to my dick.....yes.... I CAN FUCK!!!!!

Good luck, guys!

I like your attitude. I think more members could learn from it. Why do you want an implant? So I can..........!

This morning, I had visit with PA and implant surgeon who did my implant.
He examined my implant in inflated and deflated state and palpated left crus RTE but he was not able to feel one in right crus.
He also lucked at my xrays.
He ordered MRI of pelvis w/wo contrast to evaluate Penile implant.
Scheduled for MRI next Wednesday.
In discharge paper, he wrote “Consider IPP revision “.

MK...my initial implant was so painful for so long, I thought a revision would be "the end of the world". On revision discharge, when I asked about pain meds, the nurse looked and said 'tylenol'. At first I panicked, thinking 'I'm going to hurt so bad'. The I realized, the no pain meds was Dr Perito telling me 'yes, he's that good'.....and he was....

Good luck man!

If your revision is needed. I also had very little pain, swelling, at all. My initial implant was also pretty easy as well, but second was just no problem after catheter and drain came out after 24 hours.

Good luck.
