Oldbeek add me to your list of guys with a radical Prostatectomy with both sides of nerves removed and cold glans. RP was a year ago next month and implant 1 February. Been researching options and seems like Muse and Trimix gel are decent options but not excited about sticking a pellet in the end of my dick. Have you tried anything with success?

Before I wasn’t sure but after reading your replies I think I will go through with it if there are no other options. I can’t waste anymore time, I should of got this done when I was 20 years old. I’m still a little bummed out but at least I’m still fairly young. I still have to cure this stupid prostatitis condition before I focus on curing weak erections..wish me luck.

I wish you luck. For a future warning. When you read about someone's implant experience on FT. You should make a note or research some of his health history. Some things happen more often to guys that share a common history or disease.

Pbarkley wrote:I been reading up on stories about some men having a cold penis and cold glans after getting an implant and some men having the same temperature as before the implant. Why does that happen? My understanding is that the saline solution in the reservoir is heated by your body temp so when you inflate the penis should feel warm/normal like preop, but why is it that some people have a cold penis and cold glans? Also I would think that if inflated for a long time let’s say 3 hours, wouldn’t the temperature of the saline solution go down and make the penis cold eventually since the saline solution has been out of the reservoir for a long time, which means it’s not being heated by the body so it’ll lose its heat when inflated for a long time ? Does anyone experience this ?

I’m a little concerned about this because I feel as though a cold penis wouldn’t feel as good to the girl as a warm penis ..my erections are hard enough for penetration but not hard enough to make a girl feel good and bring her to orgasm, I have a possible venous leak. and if the penis does get cold after implant when inflated for a long time then it gives me second thoughts about getting an implant. last question, for the men who does have a cold penis and cold glans after implanted, is it still pleasurable for your wife ? Can they feel the temperature difference and can you still bring them to orgasm with a cold penis?

some warmup stimulation of the penis prior to inflate will help with cold glands. Also, cialis 5mg daily, for ed and prostate, also will help with that as well.

Based on a post that you made a few days ago. You have plenty of length.
It seems that for some reason, quite a few women confide intimate details with my wife. One of the more common complaints runs along the line that women just don't like getting screwed with a half hard erection. They want a hard dick. At least better than half hard. Of course, this is based upon women that are interested in sex. Not just tolerate it.
Just because you think you might be getting the job done by getting penetration. Your partner might not agree & most are too polite to let you know.
Not to say getting an implant is needed to satisfy a woman. Just that many men just don't realize how far their ED has progressed. This is well illustrated by the large number of men that say they should of gotten an implant years earlier.
I wish you good luck & try to search thru some old posts to learn more.

Thank you. I’ll definitely read more stories to learn more about this.

Yes sometimes it does feel cold. I always felt that maybe it was poor blood circulation because I notice that if I pump it up about twelve times first before sex and stroke it a few times, the coldness goes away. Then you can pump it the rest of the way if you like to have sex with a rock hard penis. I personally do not, but some so. It is all a personal matter on the hardness.

I have not tried Muse or trimix Gell. Mostly because I am allergic to the main ingredient PGE-1 and it gives me extreme pain. On some occasions with stimulation the glans will get warm, fat and red. Most of the time soft wrinkled and grayish color while cold. Sorry to hear you had the same miserable experience with the RP. I was also 3+4 small amount of cancer. I warn everyone about surgery now. Should have done protons.

I had a AMS Aus 800 installed last week. It is a valve on my urethera to stop leaking. Ever since, "no cold white glans". Maybe it is from pressure from swelling and healing. I don't know, but right now I am extremely happy to see my large red blood filled glans. Thought it was gone forever. Cant wait for this surgery to heal to get the end results. Without activating this device I have not had one leak, so I am sure it is sized small enough. Dr Boyd came out of retirement to be sure I got a proper fit. They are like implants and come in 3 different diameters. He says it takes experience to install the proper one. I asked him why retirement didn't work for him. He said he missed the enjoyment of the operating room and repairing guys like me. He still works 1 day a week with Dr Loh-Doyle and wants to pass on his 30 years of experience.

Oldbeek, wow. I have to go, but when I'm back home I'm going to be googling this device. I never knew it existed.

I'm pre implant, with a small white glans, unless I use a cockring, which works well.
Am I understanding correctly, that this valve reduces the outflow rate of blood thus producing a fuller, red glans?
This is how rings work with me, I wonder if they would be willing to install such a device on guys that have soft glans.
It would be better than using a cock ring with an implant.

I understand that this is for incontinence?
Your Dr sounds like a hell of a man. In love with his job. I love folk like that.
