Thanks for sharing your story! I honestly feel like going for a CX model instead of LGX. The more stories I read, the more I feel convinced about this.

After seeing what happened to my length and girth, I am 100% confident in my choice of LGX. After 31 months I have never had dog ears or any other problems with my implant. I would challenge anyone to pick me out of a line up. My dick looks like everybody else's, except now, thanks to the LGX, I have the dick of a man instead of a little boy. It's fatter than average and very slightly longer than average. It's so thick now that I can't use a sex toy for men anymore. It's a masturbator but I am so thick now that it can't go up and down anymore... I think my wife likes that.

Man, everything about LGX is great, natural flaccid state, less chances of developing dog ears, expanding implant, etc. My only concern is reliability since I will be coming from abroad for the surgery and don’t want the implant to fail. I am so torn right now, should I get LGX or CX. I will consult my doc Kramer and ask him for his feedback too.

The CX is made by the same company. The only difference is that the CX only expands girth whereas the LGX expands length and girth. I understand your concerns but there is really no way to predict failure. Mine was put in 31 months ago (Dec 14, 2017) and something has come apart... it stillk works but where it has come apart is very uncomfortable. Because of Corona virus, only emergencies are going for surgery. Now that things are easing up, my doctor thinks he will be able to get me into surgery in September. The good part is he also thinks he will be able to up-size me from a 15 to an 18. There is a guy on here who has had his implant for more than 20 years with no problems. You just have to have faith. Dr. Kramer is one of the best in the world, you will be fine and screwing like a rabbit soon, trust me. :)

Haha thanks Charlie! But LGX failing so soon is not good news. It should have lasted 10+ years. This is exactly why I am a believer in CX model. Do a search on this forum and majority of failures are of LGX. CX failures are rare and even if they fail, they usually do after 10+ years.

I think if the doc is good then I should have no worry about losing length if the doc implants CX model. Or alternatively to be on the safe side, I can go with LGX first and let me stretch it properly and when it fails after a few years, then go for CX model.

Had the titan for a year. Very stiff and noticeable dog ears. Very stiff cylinders. Revision to ams lgx. Totally different experience. No hard ridges. Not uncomfortable in my underwear.

I like the titan pump better though. A lot smaller.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

I had the AMS LGX 700 surgery here in Sydney Australia in 2014. or so and quite soon noticed a crease in the left cylinder, from the natural bend caused by underwear and trousers.

The crease always disappeared with a few pumps, but with near 8 inches erect, (pre-implant was 9) you can't walk around semi-erect all day. . . . . . . . . ..

Aware of the "bent straw" problem, and potential failure at the kink site from concentration of bending stresses, I always "did my best" with placement of my dick in my supportive cotton/lycra boxer briefs underwear, somewhat up and to the right side.
Straght down seemed the worst option

(Despite my best efforts in jeans and even chinos or floppy cotton shorts, there is almost always a dick print. Speedos ? Slightly Up and to the side!! Nice banana shape Marvellous !!)

Loose cotton boxer style underwear, or going commando also involves a bend, (possibly more severe ) and even more stares as my 5 inch flaccid dick hangs down my leg.

About a year ago it stopped inflating, and I can feel the kink now as a tear.

I'm booked in as of November 9, for a removal and replacement.

It will be the original team at St Vincents Private. . . . . . . . . .

A combination of my private health insurance and Government funded Medicare will pick up most of the bill, I am told.

("Ooh,'socialised medicine'. . . . . . . . . . . . .Thank the Lord for occasional Labor Governments. .) . ..

Would be interested to know what other implanted guys with their dicks to minimise the creasing at the bend.

(And ,"unsightly" visible penis lines )

And in comparing experiences with other implanted guys in Sydney.

ROB
AMS 700 Implant 2015 Sydney Australia Dr L Carlo Yuen, and team incl Prof Stricker. Excellent. It changed my life... . . .Stopped working in 2020. Ripped both sides. Complete revision, 22 cm cylinders Nov 9. 2021. Prof Stricker

my AMS LGX developed this 'protrusion' on the 15th day after surgery when the first inflation was done .
the surgeon says all is fine--but it looks very shabby and a condom does not go right through and stops short of the 'protrusion'.

any advice please--how do I deal with this? it worries me a lot and the girl I got in commented on it too.

I think we all have that protrusion. It's the tubing from the pump to the reservoir. I have it too, just as obvious. Same issue with condoms.

Just the way they are. It doesn't look terrible to me. Although if the girl didn't know you had an implant then I understand the concern.

Exactly right, and mine even used to be sore most of the time. I encountered repeated adhesions from the reservoir tubing coupler on the side of my penis, where it would attach firmly then activity would cause it to free up (break free), meaning for the next couple of days after it would be sore.

The only way I can see of avoiding the reservoir tubing going AROUND the penis would be if there was a procedure to somehow bisect or perforate between the cavernosa and run the tubing THROUGH the middle of it. This sounds like it would be a much more problematic and dangerous approach though, so the tubing going around the penis, under the skin is just a necessary inconvenience.
