Dr.Kramer or Dr.Hakki

Postby Captain1117 » Mon Jun 15, 2020 1:24 pm

As a self paying patient from Canada, I have to decide between De.Kramer and Dr.Hakki for my first implant.

The financial difference is 7K USD.

I am in pretty good health, lean muscular guy with low body fat.Never smoked in my life, working our regularly.
last few years.

Had nose surgery (cosmetic reasons) in 2018 and recovered pretty easily. Also had adult circumcision last April along with frenulum removal...tolerated the pain well and healed well.

Any pointers will be appreciated.

Captain,
Both of them are excellent surgeons with excellent reputation and results.
They might differ on approach, scrotal vs. subcoronal.
I would go to one that charges 7K less because that amount can cover all expenses And still 2-3K left in the valet.
Maybe, that is just me.
Good luck!

I'm from Canada too and I went with Dr. Karpman who was amazing in everything and ranks as good as Dr. Kramer. The total out of pocket cost for him is USD 19.5 K.

Excellent choice. He also works with AMS & Coloplast. So he should be able to get the very best fitting implant for your body. You'll be a lot happier with an implant that is well suited for you.

I had a meeting with Dr. Hakky on the 8th. Never been more comfortable with a doctor in my life. He talks to you just like two men would talk to each other. No fancy medical terms and such. First doctor I've ever had call it a dick instead of a penis LOL
I had a list of questions that I had gleaned form this site. He sat down with my list and read it to me and wrote his answers on the paper I had printed it on. He didn't sugar coat anything, just straight forward answers. Very personable and told me he stopped counting haw many implants he'd done when he reached 1,200. He did 85 last year alone.
He is also the first doctor to tell me source of my E.D. it was poor blood flow into the penis and venous leakage on top of that. Showed up in a sonogram.
Just my experience and can't speak for anyone else but I really liked Hakky. They are scheduling me for an implant now. Waiting to hear form them.
If you have any question about how I prepared for my visit please let me know. I'll tell you anything you want to know. Good luck with whomever you choose.

To add to the above, for my revision, I talked to all 5 top surgeons: Perito, Kramer, Karpman, Christine and Eid.
There were all amazing and had consensus on most of their recommendations.

The primary reason I chose Dr. Karpman is that he was very concerned about me losing length and prioritized my surgery to get the revision in as soon as possible. The cost was quite reasonable, Dr. Karpman's office looked after the warranty with AMS, and included an overnight at the hospital as I was quite nervous about spending the first night by myself at a hotel.

Sounds like this was a revision.
Who did your first one and how long did it last.

Have you noticed a difference in surgeons in Canada vs the ones in US you interacted with.
With the govt health programmes allowing a very small number and long wait times in Canada..the US surgeons have a definite advantage.
I found out about a surgeon in Montreal who has low waiting times(thats all information I have right now).
