After IPP Surgery – How To Increase Penis Length and Girth; Use a VED

The video I'm recommending has one of the most positive, encouraging messages I’ve read or heard for IPP patients.

Urological Surgeon, Dr. Paul Perito, produced these videos on the subject of using of a VED/Penis Pump post-surgery:
https://peritourology.com/2018/08/mtp-14-vacuum-devices-and-penile-implants/
(Note: Dr. Perito only recommends and uses the Coloplast Titan implant for his patients: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCI5WxTmNtA&feature=emb_rel_end) - 2012
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCaEYbfnSsA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=10&v=mYh452UYJLc&feature=emb_title

He says plainly: “Do it.” It works. (My own urologist, Dr. James Hotaling, told me to wait until after week 6 of my IPP surgery recovery to resume VED use.)

Dr. Perito also has a series of 50 videos named, “Meet the Penis”: https://peritourology.com/meet-the-penis-episodes/

Most of the videos are about 5-7 minutes long, answering questions from pre-surgical and post-operative IPP patients. I highly recommend these videos.

This video series is the single most informative set of IPP related questions and answers I have seen.

Has anyone used a vacuum pump after having an implant, and did it help?

Sure, it helps removing the tips of the implant from your glans.

What kind of you device do you have ? I'm not implanted yet but my VED usually has my fatpad and shaft surroundings sucked into the tube. It takes me a while to get all my length properly inside the tub for this reason. When this does happen, it hurts quite a bit, and I'd would imagine it could end up being damaging to the tubings of your implant. Is that not the case ?

So, I have the AMS LGX. I pump it up all the way and then attach the VED (see attachment). I pump it so that it is still comfortable but one more pump would be uncomfortable. This is what Dr. Perito suggested and it worked wonders for me. :)

principles,

I share your concern about damaging the IPP components, especially the small tubes. Maybe this post will help you.

I'm only 2+ weeks post-IPP surgery so I cannot speak from experience other than my pre-IPP surgery experience.

I posted about using a VED pre-IPP surgery: https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14385

Search my post for the phrase "cushion ring". Start reading in that paragraph.

The cushion rings I used gave a 100% seal in a water environment and made using a VED much more comfortable by eliminating pain in my groin from the base of the vacuum chamber. The cushion rings prevented the relatively "sharp" edges of the vacuum chamber from being in contact with my groin.

When I resume using a VED about a month from now, I intend to start cautiously and to use the cushion rings. I think they will protect the IPP's small tubes.
