been a long time since I posted - not gonna lie - not happy

so I just crossed my 1 year point since my surgery.. Not going to lie - Im really not happy with how it turned out.
I have an AMS700.
My issues.. I never seem to be able to get rock hard. Many times I've hurt my wife, because its just not the same. I might fall out, I might be a little soft when trying to go harder. the list goes on and on.
I was very bent before the procedure ( 51 when I had it ) .. I spend a life banging with the bent orange pecker, which when hard was rock hard ( yes I know that's the reason I had to get an implant - MS fucked me up ) - and now it's straight and softer.
I lost girth and length with the surgery.. The doctor says I didn't - but I measured and I can clearly see the loss.
My wife is losing interest in having sex with me, because once again - it's clearly not the same.. We used to have a really good sex life before the M.S. caused the issues. We could go a long time, we could go multiple times. We could get aggressive - she was pretty much open for almost anything. Now its more like she just wants me to get it over with. She wont say it out of love and respect - but I can tell.

Positives -- I can now pump without an issue, my balls don't hurt anymore.. That took a while. It's pretty much second nature now..
Yes I can maintain an erection now ( if that's what I want to call it ). For a long period of time, I could get an erection - but couldn't maintain it ( once again MS related ) So at least I can finish - but once again - still not the same.

Any advice from people who have been at this for a while. Id love to hear some success stories from people who have changed from the AMS to the Titan, if it solved any problems..

Maybe the lgx doesn't get as hard as the cx or titan?

Sorry to hear that. I'm just past 6 months and still have the ache in my sack after pumping. I have the Titan OTR. But if you can't get erect enough for satisfactory penetration that's something the doc will need to check.
As far as sex, getting older and medical issues will always decrease the desire. After 34 years we just don't do it near as often as we used to. Yea 30 years ago it was daily, some days twice or more. Now it's once a week, maybe? And I know that feeling of "let's just get this done". Some times are great, some are just so-so. It happens with age.

Are you saying that when you pump up you can still pump more or it gets to hard to squeeze the pump anymore?

Sorry to hear of your less-than-optimal results and welcome back to the forum.

Hurt your wife, how?

If fallout is a problem, could you alter your stroking technique to accomodate?

I measured (with photographs) before the implant operation so I would know exactly what my length before and after was. I was not prescient enough to measure girth, though. What are your measurements in your prime, immediately before surgery and presently?

I am so sorry to hear that, but heartened to hear of your wife's loyalty and love.

My AMS LGX gets as hard as the erections of my youth and I can hang a wet bath towel on it. During sex there is only one position we have tried that bends my penis. Reverse cowgirl when she leans too far towards my feet. Otherwise there is no (reasonable) amount of force will put a kink in my penis. I suspect you are unable to pump completely erect. But cannot be sure without more information.

Have you discussed with the AMS Patient Liaison? The PL often has more experience talking through post-op issues than the surgeons. Surgeons' expertise in in the medical aspects. PL's expertise in in everything else - operational, mainly. And that's what you need, I think.

If all you get is straight, but not rigid, I suspect not pumping to the full capacity of the implant. Either you are not getting enough pressure on the bulb, the pressure-release valve is allowing outflow at too low a pressure or you haven't enough fluid in the reservoir. The former might be resolved by improving your pumping technique. The latter two may require a partial revision (replace valve or open the tubing to put more fluid in, and reconnect the tubing). I don't know the possibilities of those medical/mechanical procedures, though. I am not any sort of medico.

Do not remain silent and unsatisfied. "Life is too short to miss the joys of sex and too long to endure its absence." (Quoted from a post I read on FrankTalk)

Did your surgeon straighten out your bend? I press with the first thumb joint against the second link of my index finger. My LGX gets rock hard. The only problem with rock hard is it is to painful to
enjoy sex. Damn sure is not going to bend. I would suggest you have your doc pump it up. Some guys are just to wimpy about squeezing their sac. Then some don't have the hand strength of a 50 year master mechanic like myself.

Trust me. Im a big strong guy. Its pumped to capacity. I just think the shaft implant is too small for my needs. Had 2 spine surguries last year. Im oblivious to pain. I just want it fixed but doc said any surgical manipulation is out of pocket as he feels its fine.

Have you stayed in contact with your surgeon? I mean, a year will be just way too long for a guy to go through all the trouble and pain and 'fall out', whatever that means. Are your pumps hard enough? If not and you do really 'fall out', you may have a defective implant and have to get a revision.
I have yet to do any penetration because it scares the bejezus out of me to have to put any pressure on cock that I know is still healing on the inside.
I am asking FT guys for help on here in my thread because I just started cycling and releasing is a pain.

Write Dr. Kramer. He seems to be willing to take on difficult cases, or at least maybe he can give you feedback by email on the issue.

What does "MS" translate to? AMS inflatable?
