Re: Advice, Penile Implant For Young Patient Who Exhausted Usual Treatments

-While I spend the next 2-3 months trying to drop some weight, I was told to see a pelvic floor specialist with my back pain to see if that helps ED, or look into red light therapy. Looking into if that now. As I have back pain, treating my pelvic floor may hold some promise.

-Is there anything I can do to prepare for the penile implant surgery if weight loss + a pelvic floor specilaist isn't enough to help my ED?

I wish I could find someone who had the implant while they were young, and how happy they are 20+ yrs later. Although unsure, it seems like young people are only doing this treatment more so recently (due to the increasing rates of young males with ED).

You should be using a ved daily to maintain length and girth before surgery.

Thank you. I suppose the idea is that daily erections for a moderate amount of time, whether thru the use a vacuum device or not, helps keep the penis stretched and keeps blood circulating there, which can help surgery recovery?
