AMS vs Titan Pump Pictures

Postby SW0110 » Wed Apr 15, 2020 4:58 pm

I finally got around to putting taking pictures of both key chain versions. There really is a big difference in size.

IMHO, the Titan looks more compact, esp. on the block. But if you took the AMS's block mass and put it on the Titan's bulb, AMS will still be the bigger of the two.

Which one is the Titan? Why they make these pumps so square?

The lighter one without the rectangular valve block is the Titan. The other one is the AMS MS (Momentary Squeeze) pump.

Not to confuse the issue but....
Isn't there a Titan One Touch pump
and a Titan older version that is smaller? Would the smaller Titan (not pictured?) be the Legacy?
Doesn't the One Touch have more problems?
These are just impressions; Hopefully, someone that has more familiarity on this will clarify.
Thank you.

None of those are the Coloplast OTR version. My urologist showed me a model of the Coloplast OTR. The base is metal where the release button is with the pump bulb under it.
If you're a person who has lack of feeling in your fingers I highly suggest not using the Coloplast OTR. That darn button is small and hard to find. My urologist asked which is my dominant hand and set the release button on the opposite side. Even though I'm right handed, and he suggested using my right index finger to push the button, I could never find it that way. I have learned to use my left thumb to push the button, my right hand to squeeze the fluid out of my penis.

I want to know this too. Those who've had both of them in their scrotum, how do they feel? Is the AMS LGX pump more uncomfortable? Or do they both feel the same once they've settled in the scrotum?

Most importantly, is this the only pump design available for AMS LGX? Or are there other pump designs too which are more minimal in appearance?
