I really don't know much about implants and I just watched a few videos of the surgery online and I had a curious questions:
For you guys that have an implant, are you detached from your penis and it just gets erect so you can have sex or is it like old times (when you was 18 years old) and you are able to have 100% feeling in the penis but you can stay hard forever........I hope this question makes sense. Are your orgasms and ejaculations still the same? Is here any pain during erection and sex? Thanks in advance for your answers!

I believe I had an excellent implantation.
Therefore, I'd rate my erection 90% and the feeling is pretty much normal.
My glans is pretty normal size, but no longer gets hard.

I have no pain or discomfort when inflating or during sex.
At my age I still have orgasms, but my ejaculator doesn't work very well.
Did I invent that word?
I don't think that part has worked well in years anyhow, so maybe a younger guy should weigh in on that issue.

Well it is not like old times, but then I'm about 50 years above 18. The sensation is the same, my penis is just as sensitive as it was prior to the surgery, at least now that I've healed. At first sex hurt, but it got better and better and less painful. Now I can inflate in about 45-60 seconds and go until one of us tires out.

My relationship with my penis changed over the years. I was more detached from it during my time of E.D. (Though, I was never truly emotionally detached, the trust level in my penis' little brother, "erection" became quite strained.) My penis and I are much enjoying our renewed relationship now and my trust in my erection is better than it has ever been.

I have 100% feeling in my penis, plus I can stay hard forever (if desired).

I have the same feeling I used to have before my implants. You will have orgasms just like before and if you do not have a partner for sex you can play with it like when you were in your teens and older. For me it makes me feel like a complete man. ED for me was very depressing. I love my implant and my much younger wife likes it also.

I have to admit... The first time I saw the subject of this thread I had an old joke come to mind about a "Snap-On" tool dealer. Something about having a detachable member. Then I discovered thankfully that the OP was talking about "Sensory detachment". Whew! That's a relief...

Back to the subject, I have a little bit reduced sensation since surgery but it's coming back as time goes by. I was able to have a masturbatory orgasm within the first week, without pumping up the implant. I don't get quite the same INTENSE pressure I remember having some 25 years ago when I would get a raging hard-on but the feelings with and without inflation are still there for sure. As others may also attest though, feelings may actually be greater at only 70-80% inflation than when it's pumped to maximum.

I don’t have any feeling of detachment at all. I still have all the same sensations. There are times when I am feeling a reaction to something I see or am thinking about and it actually feeling like I am getting an erection. At first, I had to touch myself to realize my penis wasn’t hard.

Sex with my wife feels pretty much the same as it did years ago before a Venous Leak caused severe ED and we had years of frustration. When I masturbate now with the implant it is so much more enjoyable than the limp noodle I had before the implant. Even deflated my shaft has more substance to it and when touched it feels great.

I think one key for me is to do what I can to take the mechanical aspects away so it seems more like I am setting erect on my own. My wife and I like foreplay and got in the habit early on where she begins to give me oral or massage my penis with her fingers and meanwhile I start pumping little by little so she feels like it is a direct response to her actions. When I masturbate I do the same so rather than pumping to the max and then jacking, I stroke it, pump, stroke it, pump, etc. until fully pumped. As I am just starting to wake up I pump up and then doze off again so when I wake up and am ready to get out of bed it is like the old days with morning wood.

I can not say it is as great as it was when I was 18, but it is far better now than it had been for years. I know some guys here have a lack of sensation after getting implanted, but that is not the case with me. There are no guarantees. I just got to the point where anything would be an improvement to what i was dealing with having ED.

I guess I must have had more feelings on my dick when I was eighteen, because I remember sex was over in five minutes, and I would be squirting all over. Now with the implant I can go for thirty minutes before i have an orgasm, and that is what women love about older men. Some women take longer then others to have an orgasm and with an implant you can satisfy just about any women.
