Hello everybody, hope you are doing okay.
Last month was the first anniversary of my implant. 3/14/19. Dr Robert Sherman, in Pembroke Pines, FL Let me tell you, that this has been the best decision I've made. Never had any problem, works perfectly. So if you are still thinking about it, go ahead. With time the pump has become softer and easier to inflate. I can have sex in any position and my wife is super satisfied.

Glad to hear it. Started reading these forums last summer and the vast majority of posts are men struggling with problems (bad valves, leaking, constant pain, revision after revision). As someone who is considering an implant I've been getting apprehensive about it.

I got mine 2 yrs. ago this June, BEST THING I EVER DID FOR MYSELF! The number one thing is a good doctor. My length and girth is the same as I had up until I started using injections 14 yrs. ago. They worked great for about 11 yrs. then started to fail me, but they gave me an extra inch in girth, 6.5+", but that "gained" girth went away with the implant :( , but am very happy with my hard dick now, would not go back even if I could.

no worries about getting or keeping a hard on.
Pump it up and ride.
Wife likes it because I can cum when I want and stay hard for as long as she wants!

Welcome to the forum 68CatFan,

I started reading these forums in 2016 and at that time the vast majority of posts were from men reporting unalloyed good results. I suspect reporting bias. In statistics, the sampling methods, if not what they call a "representative sample", can skew results drastically. Since the men here are entirely self-reporting, sample bias must be assumed.

The best thing to do is two-pronged. Read a few years of posts from the past and get a wider perspective and while reading those posts, read the medical journal articles mentioned in them. The medical journals are peer-reviewed and use good statistical methods, so the conclusions reported there can be relied upon pretty well. Pay attention to the dates of publication. Some advances in technology and technique would change the conclusions of some of them.

Good hunting.

Got mine 10/28/19 and all is pretty good with only a few minor challenges. Primary issue is anatomical. I have a very short crus (portion of the penis inside the body), probably only about an inch deep, barely under the front pubic bone but no further. I also have a loose suspensory ligament (apparently) so between that and the short crus, I have a very low hang and a bit of a wobble.

That being said, it still gets hard and can still penetrate for sex. I'm slightly over what my pre-op VED length was and depending on the day, I'm anywhere from 5.5" to 6". The pump is well placed in the bottom of my scrotum, pointing slightly toward the back. The tubing coming from the cylinders and under my penis to the pump can tend to itch or get sore a little but that's due to my body starting to grow over them and when they get pulled, it can cause irritation in the tissues a little.

Bottom line is that I would still do this if I had it to do again. What I have now, while not the ideal penis, it worlds above my floppy 4" pre-op penis.

Hi Bionic guys, I’m only 10 months out, but have to say that we are very satisfied with the decision we made. The 1st few months before & after my surgery I was on this site everyday picking these awesome guys brains. It was very instrumental in helping me make my decision. I can now say that for the most part, I forget I even have a implant until it’s time for it to work. Now I don’t have all the anxieties that went with my having ED. If your thinking about it, my advice would be, do your extensive research, and find a great surgeon your comfortable with. I would certainly do it again. Good luck, Bailey

I concur. May will be my first year anniversary. For me, my procedure and recovery were without pain. It did take me a while to deflate it without discomfort. It always felt like there was something between my sack and the value that was sensitive to squeeze. That has past long ago as my technique improved.

Like many, I lost a good inch in length and girth. Given I had a Titan, I was suppressed to lose the girth. However, I love having the ability to perform at a moment's notice with 100% confidence.
