Eureka - My suspicions confirmed!

I have been experiencing continuing pain/discomfort since my AMS 700 was implanted on January 29, 2020. The job was done by Dr. Edward Becker of Palm Beach Urology in Wellington, Florida. I say again - Ed Becker is tops in my book. I endorse him wholeheartedly.
We are at our New Jersey residence. I did fly down to see Ed just about five weeks ago due to the ongoing pain. At that time, there was no basis to conclude the AMS contraption was malfunctioning. In fact, Dr. Becker inflated/deflated with no difficulty. I got back on the plane to Atlantic City the very next day a happy man.
Not quite! The pain persisted and, a day or so later, I came to believe that I was partly inflated - - despite the fact I had not pimped, whatsoever. I made another appointment with Ed, had the airline booked and then COVID-19 kicked things in the nuts with travel restrictions.
Ed urged me to see a local Urologist. I also reached out to Doctors Kramer and Eid. Both got back to me on a timely basis (and I thank them). But office visits were not available.
I searched high and low in Jersey. Two practices refused to see me since they hadn't done the surgery. Then Lady Luck smiled. I just returned from seeing Dr. Tom Mueller of NJ Urology at their Sewell, NJ office. Low and behold, Dr. Mueller found I was partially inflated/ Hence, my ongoing pain - - hell, I was walking around with a half a hard-on for weeks! He did not feel my diabetes was relevant in re the instant probleme; although he acknowledged the prolonged healing (internally) was influenced.
He deflated me. At the same time, he hypothesized that the valve on the device might be defective. He told me not to touch it and return to his office this coming Monday, April 13th. If, at that time, there is involuntary inflation, we will discuss a revision for obvious reasons.
The peace of mind I now have is soothing. I was truly on the edge of my chair thinking I had made a bad thing worse by having the implant. I always close by thanking my Bionic Brotherhood for your patience, wisdom and counsel.
I have never meant that more than I mean it right now. You guys are super and this Board is a true public service.
I'll keep you posted. Happy Holidays to All.
