Who are the top implanters in the U.S.?
Reading through this site and others, the two that I seem to hear the most about are Perito and Kramer. Anybody able to give me a list of any other well regarded high volume implanters? Especially those that do infrapubic? Especially maybe west coast docs? I am not that particular though and would travel to the best. I am contemplating getting one, when the whole Coronavirus crisis has subsided and surgeons are operating again, but I think I am leaning towards the AMS LGX and want the infrapubic approach due to having had previous testicular implants and already 2 incision scars on my scrotum that I don't want my sack looking like it's gone 3 rounds with Edward Scissorhands.
50 yrs old. E.D. issues started around age 35, combo venous leak/testicular failure. Bilateral testicular implants for severely atrophic testes. Implanted 6/11/20 Dr. Kramer LGX 21cm + 1.

Unless you choose a doctor who does a bilateral (horizontal) incision in the scrotum, most use the natural divide that every man already has on their scrotum when making the small 1-2" incision in the scrotum. Once healed you nor your partner will be able to easily find the incision.
There are pros and cons to each approach.

Dr Karpman, San Jose area. One of the best. See Quincys journal. He was from Boise ID. Had great results.

I’m im Portland and it’s my understanding that Dr Stanley Meyers studied under Dr Eid & Dr Perito. It mentions that in his bio. I would want to know more details on that but he is the Doc I’m thinking of seeing mostly due to the fact that he is still relatively young (should I need a revision or replacement in 10 years) and he is local.

I am considering an implant. Had RALP in Aug, 2017 for PCa. Afterward was using VED, PDE5s and tri-/quad-mix with some success. Unfortunately, experienced BCR and began 6 months of ADT in December, 20018 and SRT in January, 2019. Loss of T caused serious issues both physical and psychological which caused me to stop all penal rehab efforts. I am not going on 10 months out from last ADT shot and T is recovering. I have lost length and girth from lack of rehab and usage of member. So, I find myself considering an AMS 700; however, have to discuss with URO experienced with implantation. Has anyone encountered or does anyone have information on a Dr. Clavell who is based in Houston, TX? My location is in San Antonio and I don't think a 200 mile trip is out of the question if something successful can be accomplished. Thanks

I have seen several people from Texas on here. Why don't you start your own post. " looking for implant surgeon in Huston" someone will chime in.NorCol wrote:I am considering an implant. reading through things, sounds like Karpman may be the one I'd lean towards, since he appears to have some of the highest ratings on the west coast and does high volume. I have wondered about the guy in Portland, as that is only an hour's drive away, but I guess I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision.
