I find regular use of a vacuum pump after inflating daily really has helped lessen the pain. It helps expand the tissues in your corpora and really seems to help lessen the level of discomfort. Even if it hurts do it daily, it'll hurt less over time.
50 yrs old. E.D. issues started around age 35, combo venous leak/testicular failure. Bilateral testicular implants for severely atrophic testes. Implanted 6/11/20 Dr. Kramer LGX 21cm + 1.

Thanks. At this point I'm done trying to gain size or lessen discomfort. Inflate only for sex with the wife now.
However plan to go back to doc soon as I keep inflating to a semi-erection shortly after deflating fully. And I'm gonna ask him why I lost 1 1/2" and why is the incision still sore? (All that good stuff learned here at FT)

I also had pains for 4 months after. I have a small 2person hot tub that helped immensely during healing. I inflated to max daily during the first year. I still get a lot of pain when I inflate to the max. Give it time.

I get a few phantom pains after 8 months but the are very few. But I was pretty comfortable at by 5 months. I would get the opinion of a doctor just to be on the safe side.
28 year old with severe lifelong ED.
Implanted in New Delhi on 26/12/19 with AMS CX (15x12) + 4cm RTE
Post op length 4.5 inches from ~ (5.5 to 6) inches. Disappointed!

I used hot baths daily until about the 5th month. If I inflated the sunburn feeling along my shaft would return, bad. Felt like my skin had been ripped off. Now that I'm 10 months out things are better, but still sore at the incision and my sack hurts after pumping. On top of losing 1 1/2" in length.

To all. Some of those phantom pains might linger forever. I had my gall bladder removed almost 30 years ago. I still get the occasional twinge. Even faint dull general aches in that area.

As Gt1956 says, pains may persist. I'm almost 10 months out (10/28/19) and I still have the occasional pain in my corporotomies and especially where the reservoir tubing runs along the side of my dick, under the skin. It seems the tubing or the quick-connect repeatedly adheres to my penile tissues and then gets pulled loose causing soreness at that point.

I also get soreness and some pain in the ventral skin around my urethra, where my pump will ride up and rub against anytime I put upward pressure on my balls and pump.

It's not comfortable and sometimes it worries me (am I about to break??) but I keep telling myself it's normal - I've got synthetic bits that aren't natural, and my body complains at times because of them.

A little more info on my surgery. I was like the surgeons17th laparoscopic case. Definately under 20. The laparoscopic procedure failed because early in the process thet didn't have the best tools. So he opened me up. He couldn't lift the gall bladder to clamp off & cut a blood supply. At follow up he told me, so I asked if my gall bladder was abnormal. As I recall he said that the books have like 60 pages of gall bladder pictures & they don't begin to show all the variations. We all vary internally as much as we do externally. A point to remember.
