How to do you know If you will have a 12cm 15cm 18cm or 21cm implant?

You can't know until they do internal measurements. Much depends on the depth of the crus which can't be seen. Some guys here have shorter cylinders than I do and end up with the same size penis.

It is normal for most men to be concerned about penis size. WE have it engrained in us that bigger is better. The main reason for an implant is to be able to get hard and stay hard. When you get to a point where you are so frustrated with a limp dick that you are so desperate just to be able to get hard, you worry less about size. At least that was my case.

That said, any sizing determined ahead of time is simply a guess or estimation, not a guarantee. In my case my pre-op stretch test the surgeon did measured me at 4' and said that was likely what I would end up with. After my surgery he came in smiling and said he was able to scrap away Peyronies plaque and it loosened up my shaft and he was able to use a much larger implant than he figured he would. Immediately following surgery when I could first measure my fully inflated size, it was 4.5". I figured that was what I would have and while it was disappointing to me, I was thrilled to see a hard erection. When my wife and I started having sex again, she was fully satisfied with that size.

Since that time my length is back to 6 3/4". It has been years since I was there. Following my Prostatectomy surgery I lost a lot of length and lost more from Peyronies. I am grateful the implant has restored my God-given size, but sex was good before I got it all back.

Another thing to think about when you wonder what size implant you will have is to keep in mind part of it is inside your body and part is outside. The depth of the part that fits inside me may be quite different from what you will have. We are all unique. There are guys here who have smaller size implants than I do, but larger penis size and guys with larger size implants. It is impossible to determine.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Yeah, like I do... 15 cm CX with no RTE's, but my length is right at 15-15.5 cm. I still don't understand that math! And my rear tips apparently went all the way into my crus, as far as my surgeon's surgical notes indicate.

It’s a mystery to me as well. I knew my measurements from 40 years ago when my first wife was doing her fellowship with a urologist. When I told my surgeon those measurements he said I was probably a 20 cm. I really expected 18cm and was surprised by 22cm. I think it comes down to proximal dilation of the corpus cavernosum measurement that’s done during the implant procedure. It’s my understanding that the measuring technique is crucial to property sizing the implant and is how important the experience of the surgeon plays in the outcome of the implant.

For my titan implant the doc used tri mix to inflate me. I was about 5.5. He said look forward to about that but straight once the titan was put. Stretched I was right at 6 inches.

My titan was 19 cm total. Last March 2019 I was about 5.5 fully pumped. By jan 2020 i was just over 6.5.

Revision to an lgx last wed. New doc installed 20 cm total lgx cylinders.

I will be glad to pump up and see how these do.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

It will be VERY interesting to see if your external penis length is greater. It will be a clue to the answer to the question if the extra length of the implant is proximal or distal. That is, does the implant stick deeper into your pelvic crus or extend you penis further out in front of you (or perhaps just is consumed by your compressing your glans' tissues).

I'm going to guess that it won't be an all or nothing deal. The extra cm could easily get split 1/3 to 2/3's internally vs externally. Although I'm betting on slightly more external cause that tissue is easier to stretch. Should be an interesting observation when it all plays out.

New guy here. Five weeks post-op with my first implant, an AMS 700 21cm w/o extenders. Diagnosed w/ PC @ 48 and despite nerve sparing robotic prostatectomy with a very experienced surgeon I developed both ED & Peyronie’s. Oral rxs helped somewhat and Trimix worked well but I was disappointed to notice that I went from 7” erect to 5”. After 2 years I decided to pursue an implant to fix the Peyronie’s, establish a reliable non-Rx dependent erection and hopefully regain some of my length. Yes, I’ve heard plenty of women say size doesn’t matter to them but it matters to me, and a short erection isn’t very conducive to the type of sex that I enjoy most.
So my post-op course hasn’t been what I expected but maybe I failed to ask all the right questions pre-operatively and so now I have a ton of questions and concerns. My question that pertains to this thread and the valuable experience I see in the responses is what would be reasonable to expect size wise going forward? I finally got the pump working properly last night and was able to produce a good firm erection. I may be wrong, but I felt like I had the cylinders at 100%. In fact my penis hurt it was so hard. I was dismayed to find that at fully erect I only had 5”. While I didn’t think it reasonable to expect to get back to my God-given 7” I was at least hoping for 6-6.5”. Is it reasonable to expect that over time I might get to that goal of 6-6.5” or if lucky more?
