In extremis - finding a lawyer

How does one locate a lawyer who knows about penile implants? I know malpractice lawyers can be searched for, but the implant specialty would be easier to explain to a lawyer who is already familiar with the devices and issues surrounding them.

Anyone here know?

FWIW, I've read that some medical school graduates turn right around & enroll in a law program. Medical malpractice has become so complicated that a M.D. is almost required to practice as a malpractice attorney.

I have used a legal service referral agency. It costs you nothing. The way they get paid is by getting a share of the settlement. They will find you the best in the type of case you have. They want that lawyer to win big, so they win also. They will check back with you from time to time if it is an extended suite. I used a referral service to find a water rights attorney, and they found me a good one. Now, if you are in battle like water rights where you are paying the bill, the attorney they assign you will bill very high. Why? Any medical malpractice attorney who has a proven track record will do. They don’t have to be Medical Drs. They will have expert review by urologist who are familiar with implants. For example a former Dr In Philly was big in implants. Now he just consults. Which means he provides expert testimony. Don’t limit your search. If you have a case, they will be happy to represent you.
