Bit of a curveball but one for the single guys out there. What would be the consequences of getting chlamydia or gonhorea etc with an implant? Would this put the implant at risk? I haven’t been able to find any literature online regarding this topic. Other diseases such as genital herpes etc I have also wondered about.
Infections certainly seem to be the big risk anyhow, has anyone came across someone who has has one and is now no longer able to be implanted?

Re: Implant and STI’s
There are members here who are immunosuppressed. (Organ transplant, HIV, etc) As long as infectious agents are under control, there seems to be little barrier to an implant. Just greater care is needed and a willing surgeon.
