As a healthcare professional myself who has implants. The staff do not see your husband as anything but a patient having surgery. My surgeon was a male and the entire staff female. Resident, Pa, APN all female. They treated me as a patient. When I work with patients I see them as people in need. They also are at maybe the lowest point in there lives. Nobody thinks anything other then getting this person well or what ever degree that is. Think about obgyn which was for years a male profession.

As far as straying in the marriage, that is not a product of the implant. Yes, getting ones penis back again increases a mans self esteem. This does not mean a male will stray because of It. That goes to the character of the male. Stability of the marriage is also I play here.

I must disagree.

What specific points do you see that a critical eye would read as suggesting otherwise, please?

There was another thread wherein the poster was a young woman telling her story of sex with her implanted boyfriend (who had not told her he was implanted). The entire first page of responses was accusing her of not being a female, but of (essentially) being a troll.

Subsequently, evidence proved (virtually 100% certainty) the sincerity of the O.P.

I think this one is also sincere and truthful.

I may be prejudiced, of course. I am generally credulous and give the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. I also believe women should be invited to post (even if in a limited area of the forum.) I believe the distaff side of humanity can contribute much to the discussion here.

I do think that a female view could be helpful to our discussions. But that is not what this is. I see now that there continue to be posts that take this message seriously. Wow, that is a bit frightening.

So, the wife needs "advise." She is supposedly concerned that while her husband is having his penis opened up with the blade of a scalpel with his genitalia exposed, there will be a female nurse in the room which will do what -- become overwhelmed by the sight and hit with an uncontrollable desire to mate with the unconscious and bleeding man, and therefore make the wife jealous? Really?

Women undergo far more intrusion as compared to men into the sexual dimensions of their lives. Think about how many OBGYN's are male. They perform regular exams of women's pelvic regions and deliver babies. There are also a fair amount of male nurses that are now working in maternity wards. So does this make sense?

The very first and only post by this "wife" is expressing concern that a female nurse or assistant might see her husband's penis, and do what?

I have said enough and will now now bow out. I am not on a mission to disrupt but don't like the idea of our discussions being the source of humor.

Spare a thought for a cousin of mine who had it done in India and the female Doctor and nurses who were supposed to take care of him after refused to go anywhere near him ( Culture issues). He was loosing lots of blood due to a serious infection and had to clean up and replace bandages on his own! At least in the western world the female Doctors and Nurses are professional and do their job extremely well.

Not long ago a member opened a thread complaining that members posting pics of their big weenies was hurting his feelings.
I found the thread to be a bad joke and stopped reading it.
If I find a member noisome I put that member on the ignore list so I don't have to see their braindamaged blatherings.
Problems solved.

I have known women to be that insecure. Any other woman who looks at her man, could look at her man or that her man looks at disturbs them. These medical professionals will be looking at her man's penis. If that isn't bad enough, she knows it will likely be in an erect (albeit quite bruised) state.

Her concerns are NOT AT ALL unlike my experiences with several women I have known.

I believe her and I also believe she is in quite a bit of emotional pain. Unnecessary, self-inflicted, but real. Not unlike somatic disorder.

You could be right, but I have to wonder why anyone (male or female) would perpetrate a fraud or practical joke such as this. From my experiences with women, this has the ring of truth (albeit a sad one, and fortunately uncommon, but by no means rare).

As I posted before, women don't trust other women around their husbands/boyfriends/lovers. And when this woman contemplates that other women (no matter how professional) being around her husband's genitals and knowing those genitals will be in an erect state...I can see how the feelings expressed in the original post (however unrealistic, fantastical or whatever) could trouble her.

I cannot defend her thought processes or attitude, for they are very much misguided and unrealistic. But I can see (indeed, have seen on a number of occasions, first hand) their reality.

So, a person came here, declared herself in pain and in need and asked for understanding and help. If sincere, to accuse her of a fraud is unkind at best. If a fraud, just ignoring it seems to cost us nothing.

The sentence structure, slight misspellings reference to insecurities and doubts about the poster's own feelings all suggest to me that the OP is real - and female. Though I do find it odd that her husband is not identified either by himself or by her. Anyhow, benefit of the doubt.

Here is a fairly decent video of an implant surgery.
It's in Italian, but just turn down the volume, what is being said doesn't matter.
If you can watch it and think anyone is getting turned on by this... well then I just don't know what to say, other than the surgical team is there to do their jobs, not become beside themselves over a penis.

The O.P. expressed concern over two issues. One (addressed here at length) is the disinterest of female practitioners in her husband's genitals for sexual reasons. The other, which I consider more important, is her ability to communicate frankly and openly with her husband. This inability pains her. She asked for someone to talk to her. It would appear she may feel rebuffed here.
