Hi guys I am planning to travel to PUERTO RICO.
Does the implant will make the metal detector go off or the body scam show the implant?

I’m not really sure but with it being plastic, I doubt that it will set anything off.

I'd imagine the odds are really low since about the only metal in most AMS and Titan models are a couple of springs in the valve, in the pump.

I lit up the whole body scanner up in St. Martin recently. Had to get patted down by security. It was a bit embarrassing when he stopped with his hand on my semi erection and looked up. I just smiled. He backed off quickly. Wasnt fun at the time, but I can laugh now. The metal detector in the states did nothing.

Tig Notaro (comedienne who has had a double mastectomy without reconstruction and has short hair) has, as part of one of her routines, the story of a trip through TSA.

The agents were unable to figure out if she was male or female. So, she was eventually patted down by both male and female agents (including the fronts of her shirts and pants) who finally got a supervisor involved. Tig never gave them a clue as to her gender and they apparently were too embarrassed to ask. The story of their confusion and consternation is hilarious (but be warned, Notaro's humor is a bit different than most can appreciate).

And she doesn't even have any prosthetics!

I believe the implant shows up on the body scanner, but does not have enough metal to set of the metal-detecting wand or trouble an MRI machine. But ALWAYS tell the imaging staff in any medical facility, for sure.

the question of security TSA issues with implants has been discussed here on this board in the past.

In a nutshell, unless you have an implant larger than 24 CM, there is NO PROBLEMS WITH AIRPORT OR CONCERT SECURITY.

Please read below my response which was posted to a thread on "implants and TSA"

Interesting stuff here. I've probably flown 50-60 times domestically and all over Europe since implant and never once even had a pat down, or been stopped to ask about it.
I did lose 2" from the surgery so all I can say is that either mine is too small and/or all you guys are such BIG boys that you have received this kind of treatment! Lucky/Unlucky You... :o

I think that is the difference. Looking at the posts in this thread, anyone who is 24 cm or less gets through security TSA as if they were "regular mortal males" .

However, when the body scanner picks up a dick that has an implant bigger than 24 cm, the person reviewing the scan thinks "No way. That is super natural, There is no male on earth with that level of endownment !" And they push the button for extra screening (maybe out of jealousy)

I read an article some weeks back about the scanners the TSA currently uses in the US. According to the article all the old scanners that showed details have been replaced. The current ones have a white screen with an outline of a body. If you trip the scanner the agent see's an area on the drawing that tripped the machine. My guess would be that the larger implants may be detected as a person possibly trying to slip a container of something through.

I do recall the an old thread about this. When I left Baltimore inflated the TSA guy looked up from the screen at me and seemed to know what I had been there for. Not sure if he had a detailed screen at that time or not. But his face flushed and he waved me through after a brief pause.

I also remember some discussion on a thread on about weather or not to notify agents before going through the scanner and showing your card. One point of view was to be up front with it. The other was unless you had a really large implant you would likely just pass right through and showing the card was more likely to get you pulled aside for a search. Either way take your card if you have one.

I have been all over in the last 5 years or so, Israel (probably the most strict of anywhere) Egypt, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, western Europe, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador, Belize, Panama and even Puerto Rico. I have not even been glanced at, except to take the coins out of my pockets. If you are traveling now, your chance of getting Coronavirus is better than having your new cock checked.
Don't worry about the new you.

I have a 24 cm with 4 cm rte. Body scan always shows "Groin issue". I opted for TSA pre so I mostly go through the metal detector.

Traveled domestically and internationally (Europe) quiet often after my implant. Never had problems with TSA screenings, never had pat down.
Apparently, mine is not long enough to activate an alarm.
