Flat ball
I am about 6 months post op and I can pump up my implant to the point where the pump goes flat and it does not refil. Will I not be able to regain the size I immediately lost post surgery? Can I still regain lost size even if I ran out of saline when I max pump? I did not expect to be able to use all the saline in my reservoir.
Re: Flat ball
I also wouldn't think you could run out of fluid, but anything's possible I guess.

You don't have your stats listed in your signature. What device do you have? Do you know which reservoir was implanted? Also, it's possible that the doctor didn't fill the reservoir full enough for your eventual expansion that you reached.
If an undersized reservoir was installed or less saline than is needed to fully inflate the cylinders, it's possible you might just run out at one point while inflating. This can be fixed with a revision though. It would be surgery but they might be able to go in scrotally and top-off the reservoir and reconnect it to the pump without total replacement.
If it were me I would ask the surgeon:
- Why is the bulb going flat after a certain number of pumps.
- If it's underfilled, can it be refilled without full replacement?
If the doctor says he can top off the saline to allow more pumps, ask about doing it as an outpatient procedure at an ASC (Ambulatory Surgical Center) instead of a hospital, to save costs. Also, ask if it can be done using a local and sedation rather than general anesthesia as it won't require additional costs for an anesthesiologist to keep you under and monitor you.

26cm titan. High volume surgeon. I don’t have any info on the reservoir. I’ll try updating my signature later. I messaged the doctor about the flat ball issue. Kinda sucks :/

Seems like the doc schools cover the costs...at least the surgeon fees of not the hospital fees.
