Curious if anyone has different size RTE's? My doc said she placed a 4cm on on side and 2 1/2cm on the other. I have an appointment with her tomorrow and will ask but wanted to see about anyone here first.

I don't have any RTEs but I understand why they might have used different measurements on each side... If there is scarring or any anatomical difference in the length of the corpora, the implants have to be different lengths because they need to fit inside the corpora perfectly so they go completely into the tip of the penis. Most of the time they are the same length internally but sometimes they differ. Either a different length of cylinder is used on each or they use RTEs of differing lengths so the cylinders can be matched. It's all the surgeon's choice at the time of implantation based on what he/she believes will give the best outcome.

I'm pretty sure AMS recommends they be no more than 1 cm difference. Also curious about why 4 cms? Did you get an AMS? Even so they come in 3 cm increments. So 1/2 cm one side and 2 cm the other would have worked. Quite often docs use pre assembled units that force them to put your pump high because of short tubing. My Docs did that and used 3 cm rtes instead of the next size cylinders. That is not for the patient's benefit it is for theirs alone.
Just my opinion

Dr.Eid used 1 cm RTE on the right and none on on left. Not sure why, however no issues at all. 5 Yrs post op and I have no regrets.

DougAnd no AMS. I have the Titam. I had my follow up yesterday and asked her why the difference and she said it was my anatomy and that to ensure the cylinders and more importantly the tips were even she used the different sizes.

Just what I said, specific anatomy.
