recent experiences with malleable?

The malleable has no pump!
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.

I think I understand what needsomehope is asking. Is it better to have a malleable or is an inflatable better?

If that is the question, it depends on several things.

Malleable PROS:
The surgery is easier on a Malleable
Quicker recovery
The reliability may be better on a malleable since there are no moving parts
There is no activation required for a malleable so it can be used by individuals with dexterity problems (hands)

Malleable CONS:
Girth is not as good
Always erect, stowage in underwear may be a problem
Since always erect, erosion may be an issue (pokes through surface of penis)
Doesn't inflate so it will not stretch out Peyronie's curves or break PD plaques

I'm sure there are others on both sides but I can't think of them now.

Another CON... No length expansion so whatever your length is when stretched out, that is what you will be after surgery and as long as you keep the same malleable installed.

Hehehe...I think this is a Agfa13, JH2007, and Crtrader (got malleable a week ago) question.
I went from a 3-piece, to a malleable, and going back to a 3-piece. Only difference was that I did not activate the 1st 3-piece.
When I had the 1st 3-piece taken out, the malleable was put in as a temporary fix, to hold things 'open' and heal the infection, then replaced back with the 3-piece.
I have had my malleable for over 2 months now. Healed about 90%, the other 10% has to do with the stitches healing totally and my body getting used to the malleable (still get weird feelings in dick every now and then).
For me, stowage is a bigly problem. I only have 4" now, but it is enough to stick out prominently in slacks and shorts, rubbing against the clothing. Since I am uncut, the 4" is enough for the rubbing to roll my foreskin back, just making everything more uncomfortable.
I cannot wear briefs any more. Its either boxers or boxer briefs. The shape of the regular briefs hug my cock further down. The action of the malleable pointing out, the briefs pulling it down, and my foreskin is not cool!
This type of malleable, Tactra, can only be bent down 90°. The Rigicon can go up to 135°

...and what Waynetho said:), which I think you were looking for anyways.

Does anyone know if trimix injections would help with atrophy?

Don't know the medical terminology, but Trimix would not help! You have scar tissue that needs to be broken up and/or scrapped out by surgical methods. The scar tissue has done its damage and is way beyond prescription.

VED (Vacuum Erection Device) *MAY* help prevent anymore atrophy. It will allow additional blood flow to the penis even if you have arterial insufficiency as well as venous leakage. The VED lowers the pressure within the penis and draws blood into the penile tissues. Once the vacuum is released, the blood and fluids that were drawn into the penis will equalize over the next few minutes back to normal levels.

If you are currently losing inches as time goes by, this may put a halt to the loss until you can get an implant that can stretch it from the inside.
