Up and Coming Implant Doctors

One thing on my mind has been what happens when the likes of Dr. Eid and Dr. Kramer eventually retire? I tend to thing there will always be at least 1 or 2 high volume implant surgeons that will become the new gold standard over time.....do folks on this board think that is a pretty safe bet?
Given my age (34), I know I could need 4 maybe even 5 revisions over my lifetime.....

When that time comes, we could simply ask Dr Kramer and Dr Eid to refer us to the next best surgeon. Not something to worry about to be honest. There will be a lot of advancement in implant and techniques over the next few decades.

I wonder how many surgeries are carried out by subordinates of Eid and Cramer?
I'd bet the docs at my urological facility are equal to the world class docs.
I know I was given a great result. I never seemed to be oversized which seems common on the big 2. I also ended up with my lifelong size and even gained a cm or so since.
It would be great when our posters would give a shout out to their docs for great results instead of just the bad results.

@tomas1,
To that note, I took my doctor's name out of my signature several days ago because I realised that since I had so much to say regarding dissatisfaction that it might cause an unfair negative bias for him in the long run. Just because I was a difficult case from an anatomical and fibrosis state, it doesn't mean he isn't skilled in implants. Someone else might have taken that extra step in my case and drilled out the scar tissue in my corpora but even a high volume surgeon in Dallas said it's all about trade offs and keeping the surgery in a safe time period of 2 hours or less to minimize infection risks. When Dr. Morey said he might have done the same job given my specific challenges, I realized that although I'm still not satisfied, I'm being unfair to my surgeon because given the subject and time limitations, he did a good job and when you get down to it, it may wobble a bit but I gained an inch over pre-implant size so far and it's straight now.
If someone wants to know who my surgeon was, and they can't find prior references in my early posts, that have but to PM and ask me, and I'll tell them.
