Hi,
I'm on at the end of week 4 after my implant (Ams cx 21 + 4 RTE). Unfortuantely I'm relly disapponted and unhappy with it. I had a dick above the average before implant (7.4 inches in length and 6 in girth on using huge dosage of pills). I'm really disappointed about the implant beacuse:

1) Lost girth: my girth when fully inflated and aroused is now 5.2 at the base and it's going to decrease along the shaft. Just before the glans I have just 4.4. Before the implant I had 6 along all the shaft. I also lost about 0.5 inches in length (not a big issue).

2) Soft glans: My glans stays soft and hypermobile even if I'm aroused and I have trouble with penetration and pain beacuse cylinder tips are pushing on the glans. Tips when inflated are at about 1/2 of the glans.

Sex with my girlfriend now is not good, she's unable to feel pleasure or reach orgasm beacuse lost girth and soft glans.
I also have pump located in a very visible position, in front of my left testicle. I also still have pain in my sack, and walking and sitting are still unconfortable.
I had infrapubc approach was 70% inflated for a week after sugery. I was deflated on day 7 and I started cycling at day 10.

I feel very depressed and I'm regretting my decision.. I'm just 31 and I decided for the implante because a I have venous leak from my teen and pills were not working well during last months.
Do you have any suggestion for me?

I tried without any noticeable improvement. Stragne thing is that before implant I had good glans rigidity and engorgement even without pills.

Steve 4 weeks is really early in the healing process in my situation it took quit a while for my glands to get full and for the implant to get softer lots of patients and cycling hopefully youll get back to yourself

Dont lose hope yet. You are still very early in your recovery. I have to say that at week 4, I was in the WTF did I do phase and was seriously regretting my decision. I am in month four now and although this is taking way longer than I anticipated, I feel more optimistic that this will work itself out. Realistically, I dont think a implant erection will ever be as good as a natural one. the technology is just not there yet. But at this point, we have to make it work. Give yourself more time (I was and am still impatient) and let things settle down a bit.

Steve, I am seven weeks and I can not do what you picture shows.
Even though If try to pull my gland back I can not do it.
My humble question is the fallowing; Is your implant to short?

A few months after surgery things heal inside and nature takes over again. If you had glans filling before , it should come back. ALL my nerves were removed during RP surgery and this morning in the shower my glans pumped up tight, purple and my dick got thick. Maybe everything was not removed and there is still hope.

Yesterday I talked with another urologist that do about 100 implants every year. He told me that glans hypermobility is because cylinders are too short. Also since I had a big size dick a titan would be much better for me, also to maintain my girth. He also suggested me to wait about 4/6 months and check if there are improvements, otherwise I will need to change the implant.
The surgeon that did my implant already decided to put me an ams and he did not have cylinders longer than 21cm. So he used 21cm cylinders with 4 RTE but it looks like it was not enough..

I also was implanted with a 21cm LGX plus 4cm RTEs so our implants are pretty much the same, after 7 months of cycling everyday once or twice my girth is very close to what is was before my surgery and I recovered most of my length. 4 weeks is too little time to evaluate the implant, give it time and keep cycling to the max everyday, it will get better, in fact my doctor told me that it may take a full year for the implant to completely reach its final measurements and shape.

Thanks for your reply Toronto. Have you also noticed improvements in the glans? Were you able to move the glans like in the picture I posted?
