I have the same implant as you, and there is no way to hide it! If you want to strap it up towards your belly button and try to hide it, lots of luck with that. I just let it hang and so far no one has stared at it or commented except my wife. I wear sweats or jeans with NO under wear for comfort and yes there is a bulge. If someone decides to stare I am just going to smile.
You will get more length as you continue to cycle, I am back to my original 7.5" after 5 months.

As far as most people not staring at bulges, it's evidently human nature to be curious and to look but then to try not to look obviously like your looking.

Case in point, at a BDSM dungeon I go to for several events, nudity is accepted and practiced by some onsite.
