Things that have changed (4 months and one weel post surgery)

Hi all,

I am slowly returning to normal after my implant. I am recovering size, and ache is better though still present (for example, as I am writing, I have a little pain in the scrotum, at the surgery bound, and from time to time, I have some pain in the shaft or tip. Very bearabable, however, but before the implant I had no pain nor discomfort at all, so I am still not in the state I think I should end).

At this point, I have a doubt. Before the implant, when I had an erection, expontaneous or viagra induced, it was no real problem to have the erection dressed. I mean, it was a little discomfortable, but perfectly bearabable. Clothes didn't make the erection something disgusting.

However now, when I am pumped and erected, I can not bear any kind of clothes touching the thing. Not even soft jams. So imagine an erection under the trousers, It is impossible. And you can think what is the point. When you have no ED, you have to deal with expontaneous erection, that can occur in every situation, in the beach with beach clothes that makes you putting your belly against the floor to hide the erection, in a disco talking to a girl that makes you to acomodate your position to hide your erection.. but it is possible to bear the erection under the clothes. Now with erections on demand, there is no need of dealing those situations, everytime you have an erection, you can be naked, ready for sex. But I am thinking about clycling. I have to start cycling periods of one hour. I don't like to be naked in bed if I am not having sex. And it would be great if I could be laying in the bed, with a soft pyjama, erected wathing the TV. But it is completely impossible.

The question: this is like that forever or with time will be possible to have erections under the clothes again?

I am at eleven weeks. Still have soreness in the scrotum where the tubing hooked into the pump block and when I position my penis in the up position. My scrotal and penile skin are also still sensitive in an irritated way. I can masturbate but I'm sore for hours afterward. Still can't think about penetration. I'm somehow comforted that someone else is having the same issues. I can't help but think that it's just going to take more time than anticipated.

You will get used to it.

Maybe not the erection while clothed. But being naked while you cycle.

You might even get to like being naked when not cycling.

You have a "new normal" state. You will get used to it. And happily, I expect.

I just wear a bathrobe and watch tv for an hour. Better yet, my wife enjoys my cycling sessions and we use it to full advantage for both of us.

At one level, I can relate to what you're going through somewhat, because currently my new flaccid state of affairs is fairly semi-rigid still at 9 weeks. This is a combination of, I think, Titan cylinders just simply being large and with more natural rigidity, and also a function of my ongoing challenges emptying my cylinders all the way flat. I have no tenderness or discomfort at all except for when I'm fully inflated for extended periods of time and a mild to slightly more than mild dull ache can be felt in my shaft and perineal area.

But still...I hear you...it's not particularly comfortable walking around in my "flaccid" / semi-hard state, and I would not even consider putting clothing on when inflated/erect. It's challenging as hell today to wear jeans (there's just nowhere for my semi-hard dick to go) and it's better in dress pants/suit because those pants are cut differently (with more of a rise, so my dick is not compressed into such a small space).

I cycle for an hour now in my home office, when I'm on conference calls, whenever...I'm sort of shameless about it. It just needs to get done. But we are empty nesters and not big fans of clothing, so nakedness is definitely fully embraced here. It's cold here now and I've got some lounge pants...basically lightweight sweat pants...which have a button fly. Genius. Stay warm, and prowl the house with the new javelin happily leading the way....
