I have LGX also and it works just fine....plenty hard after just 5 or 6 pumps in my case.

I just can't see why you can get hard with 5-6 pumps. That would just make me plump. With hard full pumps, it takes 25 to get me hard. 35 gets me painful hard. Implant trying to stretch out of my dick.

We've had this discussion here before and the end result was no one can seem to figure out how I get by with so few pumps compared to others.

Funny,

My first Urologist was against the CX and thought the LGX was the better of the two. He even went so far and said he thought the CX was crap. Asked about the Coloplast Titan and was told they have too many pump problems and the pump is too small.

But then I found this forum and PDS forum. Truth is the Coloplast Titan is the correct implant for my 90 degree Peyronies situation and definitely not the LGX.

Being that Boston Scientific has a more aggressive representative in my area and the hospital has invested heavily in the LGX (and is very proud $$$ of their Boston Scientific inventory). Coloplast is nonexistent at least from the three surgeons staff members I spoke with in my part of the country within a hundred miles from home.

The rest was easy. As advised repeatedly in both forums, “find a world class high volume surgeon” and that’s exactly what I did.

Have surgery date and travel arrangements made for the 5th of March!

Best of luck!

I have the lgx and going on 3 yrs. cant compare because its all i have had but i can tell you i get harder than superman’s knee cap. Stays that way as long as i want. And can penetrate anything i want or need to. Not going to argue it because again i have nothing to compare to. Been working just fine and cant imagine it getting any harder than it does already.

With a 90 degree bend PD, Coloplast is the best choice. Second choice is the CX. My URO used an LGX on me but my bend was just 15 or so degrees,BUT, he kept me 80-90 % pumped for 4 weeks straight. He said that is what I needed. OH MY,, PAIN,PAIN,PAIN.

Recent update everyone
After contacting my insurance carrier this morning and the office of dr. Kramer I have found out that I am covered not only by my primary insurance carrier anthem but also by my secondary insurance which will be Medicare
yeehaw
So as soon as I found this out I immediately canceled my surgery with my local doctor
Later on that afternoon I got a call from AMS and it was not the local representative but a regional representative that said that since this Dr was only wanting to use the CX and nothing else that I might want to look at using another doctor
That's when I told the representative that I've already canceled my surgery with my local doctor and that I am going with Dr Kramer for my penile implant
