AMS 700MS

Postby tallboy » Mon Jan 13, 2020 7:35 pm

Howdy group. I am 5 days post opp from getting my implant from Dr Kansas in Austin Tx. I was very impressed with the Doc and the North Austin Surgery Center. The day after the Dr took out my drainage tube and pumped it up a little bit. He told me go ahead and practice with it when I was ready. Three days after surgery I found the deflate button and pushed it in. The bulb is hard now and I got some relief from deflation but still pretty much erect. Swelling, pain and bruising is getting better fast now with just a little pain next to my right nut where the pump and bulb is. I have follow up appointment two weeks after surgery. Who else has the 700MS and would like to share tips tricks and experience? I plan on trying inflating a little in a couple more days as soon as I have no pain. Suggestions welcome and thanks.

We all know the pump is like a rock for quite awhile. It will eventually soften. Heating it does make it easier to inflate when you're ready.

Howdy Tallboy

Dr Kansas installed an AMS LGX in me on 31 Dec.

So far, I’m thinking we really did okay finding a surgeon. His staff seems top notch too.

Mine was done over at Seton and frankly, I think Scott&White in Temple offers a much better ambulatory surgery experience and nursing staff. But I was VERY happy with the way the surgery was handled.

Right now I would have to rate myself as well pleased with the surgeon, though. I have zero regrets at having this done close to home (I’m in between Lampasas and Lometa)

Continued good luck on healing and recovery.

Never saw 700MS. What is that designation. I only knew LGX. Or CS.

Can anyone explain.

Ms is the pump… It means momentary squeeze… The other names usually apply to the cylinders…
