Im sure they would have wanted to teach me at my appointment but I watched enough videos to figure it out. I am at 3 months now and still too tender to penetrate. I content myself with masturbation. I guess Im a slow healer but am confident that I just need a little more time.

My first "CYCLE" was at 2 weeks and first sex penetration was at 6 weeks. I say that in quotes because that was the first official cycle.

I got curious at 7 days and partially inflated and deflated a several of times between then and my 2 week follow up. When I went into the follow up, I played dumb. Let the doctor inflate and deflate the first time and then I followed his lead when he told me where to find the pump, how to squeeze, how to look for the pop and how to squeeze until 100%, and how to deflate: where the button is, how to press button until the buzz or "thrill" as he called it, how to squeeze out saline, etc.

He never knew that I had already mastered the pump at day 7.

Tomorrow is two week checkup time. Swelling and bruising are down - but not gone! Guess he’ll remove the stitches, check my scrotum for pump placement, and tell me to come back in 4-5 weeks? Wanna know why I’m so hard at different places in my scrotum and above my penis, and why I have discomfort/pain in my groin after walking very long? Also, why my left testicle (one next to the pump) is so very tender? Look forward to knowing If I’m going ok and what’s in the future?
Wish me good news!

2 week check up - done. Even with all my aches and complaints, I’m normal and doing just fine. Swelling around pump and left nut will go down in time, hardness in two places is due to hematoma and they will heal in time, walking pain due to swollen heavy scrotum will subside given time, and my painful testicle will get better given time. So Doctor said “See you in 4 weeks!” Arghhhh !!!!
Patience - Patience - Patience

I had my 2 week check up on Tuesday. Almost identical to yours except he said well we would start cycling you in 4 weeks but I won’t be here it’s Mardi Gras ( my Dr is in New Orleans). So we will start at 5 weeks. I said “ hold on Cowboy! Back up that horse, we are not waiting for 5 weeks, how about the Wed after Mardi Gras. He said if I have a slot in the schedule it is yours. So my appointment will be that next day .

Bionic Brothers this is Day 24 Update:
Bruising and swelling are down 80%, but still cannot find deflate button on MS pump.
Soreness of scrotum is negligible at this point, but need to be careful not to squeeze nuts when adjusting bag.
Dick was pumped after surgery, but is going down a little every day - about 75% of original rigidity - normal?
Thinking when I can find deflate button, I’ll try little pumping on my own - prior to Doc visit at 6 weeks. Anyone have thoughts or recommendations?
Day 42 is my official day of implant cycling. As horney as I am now - don’t know how I’m gonna make it!

Many of us have done it before but just be careful. Recommendation though, Test the ability to deflate before getting fully inflated. If you choose to inflate early, and you're currently deflated completely, pump the bulb once only. Then after you see how it feels to pop the valve to INFLATE, try to deflate it. You should feel the button depress. One squeeze may not have enough pressure to be able to feel the pump vibration or buzzing during deflate but once you can feel the valve going from INFLATE upon squeezing and DEFLATE upon pressing the deflate button, you will know you can do both and the try 50-60% for the next go around. After you get 50-60% inflated and fully deflated, it's up to you and your daring if you go beyond that. I didn't pump to 100% until my official activation but I did get about 75% inflated on several occasions and had to "play dumb" when the doctor instructed me on how to inflate and deflate.

Update Day 54:
Thought it would be helpful to share my experiences the last month. Every since day 24, when I tried deflating and inflating I could not find the deflate button. Seems my pump is turned upside down (button is facing anus) and thus the deflate button is hard to locate and to use. Probably my biggest issue - one I was not aware of until 2 weeks ago - I have a very small scrotum. Not much room in there. Everything is all jammed up with left testes pinned between pump and scrotum wall.
When we tried to activate on day 42, neither the AMS rep not I could not find the deflate button consistently. The AMS rep as well as the phone corporate AMS rep decided I need to “let it rest for two more weeks.” They believed I still had residual swelling around the pump. Another issue was the possibility that I had tubing laying on TOP of the deflate button (AMS rep mentioned it on activation day)? Of course this would make pressing the button difficult!
Now it is day 54, the scrotum feels normal, the pump is down in the scrotum where it should be, and finding the position of the deflate button is not difficult, it just has tubing right on top of it!! This morning I successfully moved the tubing ever so slightly and was able to activate the button. I partially cycled and was successful in deflating my penis. Maybe a light at the end of the tunnel? I will be cycling later today?? This has been a real exercise in patience. I’ll keep you posted.

Last night in shower I partially pumped up and then was able to get a complete deflate - yeah!!!
Called it quits for the evening! Since was successful with deflation, now plan to go for it today. I’ll let you know how it goes. If successful this will be first complete erection for my implant! Any advice or suggestions?
