Glad to hear the success. Also glad that you stuck around FT to help us newbies if we have questions on what to expect.
What about the dog ears/kinks? Some have it, some don't. I have a malleable right now, but thinking of getting 3-piece come March or April of this year. I am gathering information on what is best for me.

I am at a year and a half now and agree with you. We are both happy with mine.

Congrats on a good outcome - great to hear from one of the brothers putting their new equipment to good use.

So tell us when you felt you were fully recovered and ready to get "back in the saddle."

I am happy for you. I am 2 1/2 years out and love my implant. It is a life changer in the best way possible.

I likely missed some other post, but why did you get a malleable so recently and now are researching 3 piece? Why didn't you go that route the first time?

Actually, I didn't.
I originally had a 3-piece, but it was infected from the get-go. It wasn't until I found Dr. Kramer that when he went in, he found that it truly was infected, so the malleable is in until the infection is all gone, then he will put in 3-piece Titan in March or April of this year (and if I concur and go through with it). I will admit that I went into this whole thing with little research. I trusted 1st Dr. too much (Kramer was 3rd Dr).
