Sepratec wear

Postby LookingUp » Mon Jan 06, 2020 11:09 am

I cruised their site. Which ones did you get and do you recommend them?

Briefs, Boxer Briefs or Trunks?

Bamboo or Cotton?

Never had Sepratec, but love my David Archy trunks with separate pouch.

My first ones were micro-modal boxer briefs but they were too big, partly due to the stretch micro-modal fabric and partly due to the boxer style.

I bought more in rayon standard briefs and they're great. I also bought some David Archy micro modal briefs, one size smaller because I figured they would stretch too much and they feel good too.

I was a fan of Andrew Christian underwear prior to implant and still love them. The do not have a separate pouch but they are made with plenty of room for the whole package. I also like the Saxx brand.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

I prefer cotton with lycra boxer briefs. Very comfortable and have kept their shape after multiple ( not too hot) washing machine washes.
80 year old Type2 diabetic, long term ED, pills then injections PGE1. After 4 years they became less effective. Implanted 20/3/2018 by NHS. AMS 700 CX 15+4 cm with MS pump. Never had any significant pain. Still working perfectly and used regularly.

I just discovered that Rayon is really a natural fiber and it's more about how it's processed. Separatec's Rayon fabric is made using fine bamboo fibers and I believe also elastane (Lycra/spandex).
