Doc for Implant Tampa Bay

Postby will1948 » Thu Jan 02, 2020 10:34 am

I’ve had it with injections and I need to make a change. I would inject but just before insertion the thing fails to cooperate. The wife gets pissed and says things like “You need to speak to your doctor to get this thing fixed” Can’t say as a blame her. She is losing patience.

I live near Clearwater/Safety Harbor,Florida.

Does anyone know a experienced Doc in my area to do the implant?

I am currently seeing a uro in Safety Harbor but I don’t know how experienced he and I don’t want to take chances with something this important.

ED is affecting my quality of life so any Doc recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Needless to say, I’m very depressed.

Are you using one of those auto injectors?

Before you haul off and go implant (which I did day before yesterday) let me make a suggestion.

If the medicine you are injecting seems to work, and you’re having trouble with the device, try using a regular syringe.

I injected 30 years with varying degrees of success but in my case it was the medication was stout enough to help control bad venous leakage but not strong enough to give me a normal, rock hard boner. I could penetrate and would have a 50-60% semi erection to stroke with. It wasn’t ideal but it was preferable to celibacy.

My deal was chemical. Yours sounded mechanical. That’s an easy fix. I never once used one of those auto injection devices.

1/2 inch, 29 or 30 gauge insulin needle. Easy to do, minimal pain, and if the medicine works you can deliver it without fear of mechanical failure.

Eventually an implant may very well be in your future. But if you can hold it off via shots without scarring or Peyronies I think I would try.

Thanks for the advice. I’m not using an auto injector. I’m using a 5/16 syringe but I noticed you mentioned a 1/2. Should I consider using a 1/2?

I believe that it is clear to me that you need to get the implant since you say things like:
"....The wife gets pissed and says things like “You need to speak to your doctor to get this thing fixed” Can’t say as a blame her. She is losing patience....."

also you say:
"...ED is affecting my quality of life so any Doc recommendations would be greatly appreciated.....Needless to say, I’m very depressed....."

Yup, this is where you should be to get the implant. My advice---stop the injections and get the implant as soon as possible---and never second guess yourself and never look back

Agree that it can be hard to find a expert high volume surgeon, but you must try really hard to do this -- it is key to get it done right the first time.

Good luck

Will, you confused my Tylenol addled brain here and I had to read between the lines.

You’re using a regular syringe, but a 5/16 needle.

I don’t know what your dick looks like nor do I really want to know.....but I think there’s a really good chance you aren’t delivering Trimix to your corpora.

I am a long ways from horse hung. Yeah, my equipment is decent and my girth is good but you would never see me in a porn film. Unless it was a comedy.

Using a 1/2 inch insulin needle, it usually takes 7/16 of an inch before I feel that last bit of resistance that is the wall of the corpora. I know I’m in because its easy to inject. If I’m not in, I would have to force the syringe to expel the medication. If I’m in the corpora, I think I could look at the plunger snd the injection would go. (I’m exaggerating, but if I’ve made it thru corporeal wall and I’m in, there is no resistance at all)

But I’m not even feeling the corpora at 5/16 of an inch. And if you don’t get a dose of Trimix in the right spot, it won’t work. I’ve messed up a time or two over thirty years.

Good advice. A light bulb went off in my brain however small it may be. I’m using a 5/16 needle and sometimes I am finding resistance when I inject so maybe the syringe may not be going in far enough. It can’t hurt to try the 1/2 what do you think?
