My scrotum is really getting sore

My scrotum is really getting sore. I had my surgery on October 28th and pumping and deflating is taking a toll on my scrotum. How long does it take for the pump to soften up? I'm still pumping up 3 times a day but I'm going to have to take a brake, it's just starting to hurt to much. I'm also having a difficult time deflating. When I get what I think is fully deflated, 15 minutes later i have what looks like a semi! Like saline leaked back in. ????
Also, when I'm fully deflated, as soon as I let go, my penis folds on a 45 degree angle about an 1-1/2" from the base and I can feel the fold till I'm pumped up again. Is that normal?

I do not know what's normal, but I am implanted Nov 15 and still have soreness in my penis. When I pump, the bulb is extremely hard. Both inflation and deflation gets me sore, have not been back to the Dr. yet.

Lennywin, no, this is not normal, esp. after several months.
BUT, we don't know your circumstances. Your prior state, did this issue just start happening, or has it been happening since surgery?
As for pumping 3X/day, are you pumping to full inflation until it hurts? How are you doing the pumping?
Have you spoken to your Dr. about it? What did he/she say?

Anyone else chime in...

Lennywin, we're twins. I was implanted in Frisco TX on 10/28. I don't see in your message what type of implant you have. I do believe what you're experiencing is normal, at least it's mostly been my experience as well. I do get some pain from cycling but mostly it's from pressing the deflation button. I've mitigated the pain from deflation by rolling the pump to a different area of my scrotum that isn't sore. As to inflation, I don't use a fingertip pressure to squeeze the bulb as that can cause it to jump out of my fingers and smack my testicle which isn't a pleasant feeling. I cradle the pump between the fold between my index finger and thumb and squeeze with the whole fingers.

Also as you say, after fully deflating, 10-20 minutes later I have what appears to be a semi but in my case, it's not saline and I've proven to myself satisfactorily that this is fact. What I believe is happening is that there is still some erectile tissue in the corpora that was just pushed out of the way when the doctor dilated them (despite his statement that he "DESTROYED" my erectile tissues). This means that when I pump to maximum, I'm compressing those tissues again which upon deflation, will eventually expand back to their relaxed thickness. Pair that with the additional space used by the deflated cylinder and it's a bit fuller in the corpora now than it was pre-surgery.

Heck, I've even been getting morning wood practically every day since I got the implant.

Enough with my theoretical explanations, now to my question to you... Do you find that at times with the right stimulation, you get the old familiar arousal feelings in your groin (fullness, maybe a dancing or pulsing penis)? I do! That's why I believe what *I* am experiencing is the effect of erectile tissue that wasn't destroyed during surgery and still tries to get erect.

My surgery was on 11/11/2019 and I have yet to successfully cycle due to soarness in my scrotum. The doctor has been seeing me every 2-3 weeks and has chosen not to push cycling just yet. It has improved a good bit the last two weeks and I hope tomorrow’s appointment will result in a successful inflation and cycling thereafter. The pump remains super hard, so I expect it will take some time to function as expected.

What I have observed, is there is no normal here. We all heal at different rates. Either that, or my surgery is a bust, but I don’t believe that to be the case.

Sounds like you need to give your scrotum a little break. Maybe 3 cycles a day is too much for right now. my AMS was installed on 10/31/19. I am able to pump without pain but my inflated penis is still pretty sore and I can't even think about sex other than masturbation. I also experience a semi even after squeezing hard on deflation to get the saline to flow back into the reservoir. Some saline eventually flows back. I think this is a common occurrence.

In my case I'm not getting "auto-inflation" or saline going back into the cylinders. I can try to squeeze it out again, and even pop the bulb and go back to deflate and not have anymore saline to push out. I firmly believe that at least in my case, either I have tissues that decompress to fill things back up or the slight retracting of my penis after full deflation, along with the accordion of the CX implant, it gets thicker/stiffer due to the folds and distal retraction.

Others may be experiencing saline bleed back but mine is not.

Incidentally, If the normal state of the implant during the healing of the abdomen around the reservoir is not fully deflated, the pseudo-capsule may form around the reservoir without the reservoir at full capacity. If this happens, you will never deflate more than that pseudo-capsule capacity allows.
