Guys I'm sure to some of u this is probably a stupid question. I'm am scheduled for surgery next week in New York. I think that the temperature will be in the teens. All men know when it's cold that your penis retracts. My question is will this affect my stretch test and also my implant size. I know that this sounds crazy but my mind is racing

I wouldn't even think about a stretch test. I never had one nor did my doc even want to hear what I considered my size.
All measuring was done when I was under and he was able to size me to perfection.

Stop worrying about things and just go with the flow.
Easier said than done I guess.

Go to your local Academy Sports and pick up some of those disposable hand warmers. Drop one in the shorts. Should do the trick and one less thing to worry about. LOL

Don't worry about the stretch test its only a clue the real measurement is done on the operating table.

I'm considering an implant and have similar concerns.

The thing to remember is that all operating rooms are cold. This is for the benefit of the surgical team, not the patient.

So, you are going to be measured cold.

I recently performed 2 measurements of myself:
1. I pulled my penis to its maximum length, flaccid and cold. It measured 5.5 inches from my pubic bone.
2. I injected Trimix and at full erection, remeasured from the pubic bone. I was 5.9 inches long.

I'm going to be talking to my doctor about this phenomenon.

Someone recently suggested taking a photo of my erect penis with a ruler being used to measure its length, then presenting it to my surgeon.

I don't know if my surgeon cares or not, but I do. I might do that.

I have photos of my stretch test and Cialis from home. They are both at 7 inches. I've done this test multiple times over the Last month and it always comes out to the same measurement

We all had the same concerns about size. I did come out shorter and skinnier post-op but nine weeks later, things are looking better. It's a process that takes probably months.

Mike, unless he is measuring you in a ice box don't think it would be an issue and they will remeasure you in the OR. now a shock to me was after surgery and healing and use. I'm a nudist and as cooler temps approach here in SD, I noticed that since your penis with implant doesn't shrink in cold temps, the length is set it doesn't shrink up, my dick did feel colder and the fluid state of stiffness that i keep in my shaft got thicker like water in a garden hose. that caught me off guard. not a bothersome thing until I have to get dressed to go! now i'm a shower all the time not a grower!

I hear where your coming from, cold makes the penis shrink. I felt the same way at the stretch test. all I can say, we are going to one of the best. The way I am, i'm useless.
