Depressed about my post-op length

Postby young_and_impotent » Sat Dec 28, 2019 4:53 am

I underwent the surgery 3 days back. I went from around 5.5 inches to around 4.
I couldn't even get an LGX as supposedly I was too small so the doctor went with CX.
I didn't care too much about size, I would have been ok with 5 but 4 is too less.
Right now I am fully inflated and will remain that way for 4 weeks(ugh!).
I am already very hard, actually too hard for comfort.
Here are some pre and post pics, I know the scale is missing but it is pretty evident.
I was implanted with 15 cm AMS CX with 4 cm RTE. But around 9 cm is the cavity and only 10 cm is outside.

Post-op (4 inches)

Is there any way to increase it from 4 inches at maybe 4.5 or 5. I am ok with revision surgery sometime in the future.
Would VED help?
I don't have floppy glans.

I had huge expectations from this surgery but it was sadly a disappointment. My doctor said there won't be much change with cycling.

Post op length 4.5 inches from ~ (5.5 to 6) inches. Disappointed!
Wish to have a revision to LGX some day.

Maybe I'm being overly simplistic, but I'll never understand how a doctor can implant cylinders and have the result over an inch less than pre-implant length.

I can see it happening if you have a pre-existing condition.

I suppose I'm basing that on my own experience where I had my previous length at the first inflation.
I had no pre-existing issues.

Hold on Hoss, you are a long way from your new normal. I was 3 1/2 pumped after surgery. I was 5 3/4 before my ED began 20 yrs. ago. It's been five years since my first implant. I am back to 5 1/2 and happy happy happy. Give it time, you probably won't regain all the length you had before, but you will gain most of it back. Please be patient, you are still in the healing process. It will take months to feel normal again, but you will!!! You'll be fine in a few short months. Please slow down and relax so you can heal properly. I would ask the doctor if you can release some of that pressure. I wasn't fully pumped for 6 weeks. My 2nd implant is the CX, first one was the LGX. Not much difference that I can really tell.

I sure hope when I get mine done that I have your success in getting back my lost length. I have a great panic of finding a 3 inch after surgery. That would be like the first time I saw my dick after Prostate Surgery. Instantly gone.

I pray that it will stretch out. I am pumping 2x a day for 20 min. The day is getting close.

My length was 4" after surgery. Now back to my original length. My perception is the surgery causes such trauma to our penises that they tighten up and don't want to cooperate when we go to inflate. As they heal they loosen up again and I know in my case I suddenly had growth. It did take well over a year to get back to my original length. Please be patient.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

It is great to hear that you guys recovered.
I don't think I will recover because

1. I have. CX not LGX
2. Implant has already expanded to it's limit 11 cm outside body.

Maybe it is something in my anatomy

I guess I should accept it. Maybe in the future if I go to US I can look into replacement if there is a guarantee I will gain length.

Don't rely exclusively on the 2:1 ratio to estimate full pump vs. size of cylinders. I have 15 cm (5.9") cylinders and no extenders but yet I'm back to about 13 cm in length (5.0-5.25"). Some anatomy won't permit a third of the cylinder inside the body so 11 cm may not be anywhere close to your maximum length.

My distal to proximal ratio is more like 50:9.

I already know the ratio in my case it was 11:8 and 10:9 which is unusually low.

My wife of nearly 35 years says “Amen”

I was blessed with a pretty nice dick, as things go, albeit I never really knew it since I’m like the ultimate grower. During the short period it would get hard after a shot it was nearly. 7x6.

But that wouldnt last once I started moving around and trying to have intercourse.

My wife’s comment to the doctor was that it felt like it got longer, softer, and flatter inside her.

At 6” circumference she really felt it and was better in tune to how the shot was working than I was.

She flat out told me, not being ugly, that she would keep doing sex for me but the lack of a hard one meant I needed to use fingers and tongue. Of course I was glad to do so, I’m pretty fond of that activity.

I’ve heard this from multiple women do it might be true. Hardness is critical. Size is not. Great big is not even desirable.

I’m hopeful I get back to somewhere close to where I’m starting. I’m not greedy. I want it hard. But hard at 6 1/2 x 5. 7/8 would be cool.

But if not, I’ll be hard. 99% of the battle.
