Postby young_and_impotent » Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:47 pm

Would Cialis help with this?
28 year old with severe lifelong ED.
Implanted in New Delhi on 26/12/19 with AMS CX (15x12) + 4cm RTE
Post op length 4.5 inches from ~ (5.5 to 6) inches. Disappointed!
Wish to have a revision to LGX some day.

Cialis and the other meds in the same class don't affect your arousal. They only allow more blood flow to the penis which will usually allow a firmer erection when you actually do get aroused.

You still have to be aroused by the normal means before Cialis helps with your erection. If you don't get aroused you may need to look into TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) or similar treatment to boost your libido. Also, mental frame of mind is important to getting arousal.

I meant Cialis filling out your implanted penis. Maybe the glans.

Yes, if you don't have a venous leak and you only need more arterial blood flow to get rigid, Cialis will PROBABLY help your glans to get rigid or at least more firm than without it. Cialis and other ED drugs work by allowing more blood flow so that covers one factor of an erection: the blood entering the penis. The other factor that has to occur as well is the veins need to contract and hold that blood in the erectile tissue. I don't believe ED drugs help with venous leakage. I believe it only improves inflow of blood.

Bottom line is, if you don't have a venous leak, it should help more blood to flow into the corpus spongiosum (the spongy sheath around the urethra that gets puffed up during erection) as well as the glans penis. This will usually cause more rigidity of the glans and spongiosum.
