Should new implant stick out at 90 degrees?

Hi all!

I'm at day 7 of the titan implant and now that the bandages / scrotal support are removed my question is should it still be sticking out at 90 degrees when deflated?

Or does this mean that it wasn't fully deflated and there is still some fluid in the tubes? Or would it simply be down to new implant stiffness?

I can wear trousers somewaht comfortably with it pointed upwards but I'd very much like to rest if downwards too though this isn't possible atm.

Give it time. That's normal due to swelling. It may take several weeks or several months to get a natural hang back. Others may have more info on how long it took them. I understand that some have even taken longer before they hung in a natural way (not necessarily like they did before but their new normal).

At day seven I was still swollen even though at the time I couldn't tell. I'm probably still a bit swollen even now at 8 weeks. I know my scrotum is swollen where the pump sits.

Thank you so much for the quick response, Waynetho (it was on my mind). Beyond my penis being uncomfortable with the positioning the only real issue is this somewhat 'throbbing' pain in my scrotum where the pump rests.

All in all I thinks are going pretty well! Is much easier move around than two days ago and I'm hoping to be out and about again shortly

Also, about how to carry it in your trousers... It took me several days to figure out if I should "dress left" or "dress right". Early on it was uncomfortable when bent to the left so I dressed right instead. A day or two later it ended up naturally going left instead.

You probably won't be pointing it up when it's all healed. Your probably going to decide on left leg or right (or in my case, left side or right side of the zipper).

I am right behind you. Day 3 post surgery.first day out of catherer which was an annoyance. Fair bit of swelling in the scrotum but nothing else. Out and about and even drove to drop my kid off in a class nearby. Not on any medication except antibiotics and motrin for the cycling. I think we just need to take it easy. Mine has been in a more resting position already. I was able to locate the deflate button and deflated it completely. Upon inflation, i could not go all the way but wil continue to stretch it out. Not fun but have to do it to get it to soften up slowly. Everyone heals differently. Looks like you are right on track and may have to deflate more fully. You have any pics? I have a pic of a deflated and inflated penis and it is not all the way at 90 but at about 45 after full deflation.

Hehehe...I have a Tactra malleable...permanent hardon. I am still trying to figure out how to dress it.
I can't just roll over in bed because dick gets in the way. Balls are swollen, so I better cup them and pull them forward before I sit down!
I put on dress pants today...nice bulge, but did not want it.

Titan cylinders do start out kind of stiff. There is also in the first week or so a lot of tissue swelling and trauma from the surgery which also causes a pretty good stiff dick. You should be wearing it up against your belly for a few weeks. It was probably a month before I could even think about pointing it down.

If I remember right the recommendation was wearing it up for a couple months to not cause any folds in the cylinder s at the base until everything in the crus anchored and settled in.

Every month the cylinders get softer and it starts dropping more and more. At 9.5 months my titan cylinders are pretty soft and I am flaccid and point about 4.30 no problem. It rests right on top of my sac like it should. I will say it was several months before I felt real comfortable in jeans. Probably month 3.

I don't think there is no "should". There is a wide range of how quick things settle down.
For sure, there is nothing strange with it sticking straight out after 7 days. So did mine as well. And look at my pics below to see where I ended up... So no worries at all for you at this early stage.

It could mean both your suggestins above. It is probably not 100% deflated and the cylinders are stiff when new and will loosen up over time. Over a long time.
Furthermore you probably have body fluids trapped in your dick as well, which adds to the erection. This will go away too soon.

Just take it easy.

And an advice: Do NOT force bend your dick down. Wait to point it down till you can do so without using any force etc.

My doctor told me to try to keep it pointed up as that would help with swelling. After the second week or so I could wear mine down but had to switch from boxers to boxer briefs or it was way to noticeable.

Like Merrix, my penis stuck straight out for several weeks after implant surgery. This is how it hangs now. Remember, your penis has been through a traumatic experience. Until it is fully healed, inside and out, it tends to be stiff whether inflated or deflated.
