It has been an unhappy and long journey. Check my previous posts for more background. I have been convinced that implant is my only option since last year. I have tried bimix without much effect. Thank you Franktalk for all the support and information. I don't know if I would go through this without knowing the personal experiences shared here.

My doctor, Raman Tanwar said he will go with an LGX first and if that doesn't work then he will go with a CX. The length is decided by inserting malleable rods, there was no stretch test. I might be a little shorter now after many ears of ED. I never measured exact length before. I just hope I retain most of it (around 5.5 inches). I will most probably be given regional anesthesia. Which is a bit jarring, honestly I wanted to be asleep during the procedure. I am paying for this out of pocket.

I will be sent close to fully inflated. I guess I will get deflated after a week. Not much is told about the recovery procedure but it takes 6 weeks according to the doc. Also I think I have you guys to ask for opinions and help. I will be changing cities in Feb so I hope all goes well. I am not thinking of the procedure right now but I will start to have major cold feet as the time approaches.

Congratulations on your decision. I’m 65, and have had ED for 20 years. If I knew what I know now when ED began, I would’ve been first in line for an implant. I wouldn’t have done the pills and injections. Although going through that process it confirmed I need to do something or I would never have sex again.

With the implant I’m having the best sex of my life. My wife loves it. A sixty-plus couple having sex like 20 year olds for 1 1/2 to 2 hours! Thank god we are in great physical condition!

Its great to hear about your scheduled implant. I wish you the best. I to am scheduled for an implant on Janaury 9th, 2020. I am trying not to think about the upcoming surgery as I believe it will give us cold feet and bad thought. Take care of yourself and keep us updated. These are a bunch of fine guys on here that will help in any way. I hope that I can give back and help others in the way they have help me. Good luck friend!

I am still in recovery after 8 weeks, so don't be discouraged if it takes a little longer than expected. You are young, so you have that on your side. For myself, still a bit sore but I can tell things are heading in the right direction. I am a bit smaller but I have to decided to not focus on that and just get things in working order first. Hopefully, regaining lost length and girth will come later.
