Week 7 post op follow up appointment and I expressed my disappointment with length and girth. My Surgeon, said, "let's pump it up to its full glory." I thought I had been doing that but he went beyond what I thought was my maximum. It HURT. He said that I have to stretch out those tissues if I want to regain what I had lost. I could feel the cylinders right up to the end of my glans. So, I will do this daily ... no pain, no gain!! Still not ready for penetration but I have hope.

I am in a similar situation. Very dissapointed with my new size (10 cm vs 12 cm before surgery), but I am 3 months after surgery. Pain when pumped doesn't allow me to have sex. I am pumping conservatively now (with very little pain) because I am afraid maybe I have been oversized, and I need confirmation of my doctor I am not causing erotion or I am doing damage to my tissues before going agresively again.

Got the final go ahead today to put my buddy to use. Mr Dr. said while cycling to pump it up until it feels uncomfortable and then leave inflated for yo to three (3) hours, WHAT?
He said he wants it to stretch to straighten any curves and also so the tubes will stretch.
He said he gave me some longer tubes 24cm + 1cm RTE Total 25cm, is that oversized ?
Not pumped up so much for sex. just cycling.

whitecane, I am pumping it up as far as I can tolerate for 15 to twenty minutes. I can't mastubate at that level as it is too painful. If I do, I deflate it a bit until it doesn't hurt quite so much. I am definitely not ready to have sex with another person.

Assuming you have the typical 2:1 ratio of distal vs. proximal corpora, the numbers would say that you have an implant with 16.666 cm distal (in the penis) and 8.333 cm of proximal (in the body). 16.666" would be 6.56". If this is in the range of your typical penis length (6.5"), and your anatomy is typical with the 2:1 ratio, you were probably sized correctly. That's a lot of ifs though. Due to fibrotic corpora, my ratio is more like 50:9 with about 5" of the cylinder in my penis and about 0.9" in my body.
