Updating my situation

Hi there,

Some days have passed since my last message. Tomorrow I will go to my doctor to see what is happening with my implant. However, there has been changes since my last post.

First, I have softened my cycling. Instead of two 15 min sessions pumped to point of bearable pain and 1 hour session pumped to just under pain (pain appeared then after 30-40 minutes and became almost unbearable last 5 minutes), I have been pumping two/three times a day during 15-20 minutes to the point just below pain starts. Since then, pain has decreased quite a bit.

However, the point under pain (i.e. the point where I could have sex without pain) doesn't give enough size to have sex. I have to say that now, fully pumped (the most I can, with much pain) I am at 10,3 cm. First time I pumped to max I was 9,8, so I have gained about 0,5 cm. If I could go to that point without pain, i could have sex without problem.

Lets see what doctor says tomorrow. I will keep you informed.

Sounds like a good change in the plan. Interested in hearing what your dr has to say. What's your length in inches pumped up to just under the pain threshold?

The measurements are everything but exact. The only exact measure I have is the strech test Dr took me one month before surgery: 10 cm (3,93")

Aproximately, before implant I was between 12 and 13 cm (4,72 - 5,11"), but i think I was closer to the low level (12cm / 4,72")

Now, the point were pain begins is at about 9,9 cm (3,9"), I can get 10,1 with pain (3,97"), and 10,3 with much much pain (4,05").

This pain, with penis at the air. If I use it, the brush againsnt vagina hurts even below the point of pain (3,9").

But I have notice that pain level has decreased a little these days. Maybe I was beeing too agressive with cycling, and that caused more pain than normal. Anyway, it is not normal under any point of view not been able to have sex after 3 months past the surgery.

Yes, inflated or deflated. Inflated to the point of no pain at all. If I go ahead that point, then pain makes me stop very soon.

Deflated, I can reach orgasm without any problem. And inflated with no pain, too.

You are only 3 months since IP. I have pain almost unbearable at max pump and I am 1 1/2 yrs since IP. At 3 months everything was very painful. You are pushing the cycling too hard. Back off for a while.

Hi, that is another thing, a weird one. My wife is all but supportive. She is very negative with this. She has been suffering my ED for 10 years, with absolutely no sex since March this year, and very irregular and very little quality during the last 10 years (no spontaneity because of pills). Now, the size loss has dissapointed her, and my incapacity for having sex 3 months after surgery, what she thought it was going to be the definitive solution, has put her in a state of 'not even this is going to work for us'. She kind of blame me about the whole thing.

This is driving me in a bad state of mind.

Lets see what tell us the doctor this afternoon. Luckly, everything in the process is normal, even my incapacity for sex 3 months after the surgery, and he can tell my wife something that calm her.

You might have same issues I had. I had pain and discomfort with inflation and my progress was very slow.
I am 54 now. Had prostate Ca at 51 with radical prostatectomy which rendered me 100% impotent with no sign of life from my penis. I also lost 2 inches of length (5+ cm) and some girth and ended up with pre pubescent penis like 11 year old.
Before implant, my stretched penile lenght ( with good stretch) was barely 4.5 inches. Iwas implanted with18+1 Titan.
After implant when started cycling, I was only 3.75 and in first 3 months I barely reached 4”. I had tried first sex at 75 days post implant and it was so painful that I couldn’t go longer then just a few minutes.
Despite pain and disappointment, I continued to cycle. Believe it or not: magic happened at around 6 months. While cycling one day, I felt sharp pain for few seconds ( scar tissue broke) and my penis sprang, and pump became softer so I was able to add 4-5 big pumps ( wall to wall). At that WOW moment, my penis was a bit over 5 inches.
I am now 15 months post implant and my penis is 5.5 inches. From implant standpoint, I gained 1 inch of length but I am still 1 inch shorter then before prostate removal. ( was 6.5 inches whole my adult life).
You might have same problem I had, so cycle patiently with moving higher pain threshold week after week. Do not go into extreme pain. Time and patience will work for you as it did for me.

Great information mk1965! Congrats on that success story. And great to know!! Just starting to cycle and starting with 5 inches erect post op. Super excited to think I can get back another inch And oneperson let us know what your dr says. Good luck and none of this is your fault pal. Sorry your wife is frustrated, at least you can get support from us on here! Don’t despair.
