Men, including myself, are obsessed with their penis size. I see this concern written about daily here on franktalk. As part of my yearning to gain insight regarding the average penis length (the article says that average erect is 13.1 cm (5.2 inches).

The curves are displayed here:

Figure 1: Study of over 15,000 men shows that average erect penis size is just over 5 inches. Half of all men will be smaller and half will be bigger.

Here is an important quote from the paper:

“…The nomograms may be helpful clinically and in research to determine the discrepancy between what a man perceives to be their position on the nomogram and their actual position. Thus, Mondaini et al. [11] found that 48 men (71.7%) with small penis anxiety ‘seemed to be reassured about their normal penile size after a thorough explanation during the visit’. However, 50% of men might interpret being less than average as being defective or abnormal. Comparing one’s self or one’s attributes against others is a ‘double-edged sword’ [35] and may confirm perceived inadequacy. It is especially problematic in those with body image problems. Some may understand that by definition, half the population must be below average in a normal distribution. … "

HEY BROTHERS, REMEMBER, HALF OF YOU WILL BE ABOVE AVERAGE AND HALF WILL BE BELOW AVERAGE, it is important to realize that women say, 85% of the time that there partners penis is big enough. Here is another quote from the article:
An important observation also comes from Lever et al. [38] who found in a large internet survey of 52 031 heterosexual men and women, 85% of women were satisfied with their partner’s penis size, but only 55% of the men were satisfied with their own penis size. Thus, only 15% of women say that erect penis size is important and erect girth is generally more important than length [39]

Size matters to some partners and not to others. With the exception of Micro Penis Syndrome where there is not sufficient length to have sex, I think many guys who view themselves as small will find there are ways to compensate by learning to use what you have to satisfy your partner. There are guys with big dicks who are themselves big dicks and don’t care about their partners. I know a guy with a huge dick who can’t get a partner to stay in a relationship with him. We just have to do the best with what we have.

You have what you have, not going to get more. Porn is what gives the impression that a big dick is the bomb. Or that is what a partner wants. 5.2 inches will work just fine for most people. Partners who judge you by your anatomy are not worth having as partners. One point, if one keeps healthy, does not get too heavy in the middle, the penis will even look larger. Just saying...

When I was enduring ED, my fingers were plenty “big enough”.

Good one, Greg! (Not always true by any means, but sometimes true, that's for sure.)

After 3 implants I'm 4.75", about an inch less that my "original" dick. I have fun! Good luck, man!

There is a link to a study on the Reddit site. Different data, formatted differently. Mostly the same results. Most porn actors look huge because they normally get filmed from the bottom view. Not arguing that some of them aren't on the larger end of the spectrum.
My wife has said that upon finishing. She has never wished for more size. I take that to mean length. I do know that she is very well aware of my hardness so I guess she picks up on the girth also. She likes to bear down & squeeze me. Squeezing a hard penis vs a semi hard means a lot to her.
FWIW, both studies put me firmly in the 70% range. I'll be very happy if my eventual implant puts me back to that point. I think it is a realistic goal.

Sorry if I'm a killjoy but I know some people here are aware of it so I might as well share that this is the Veale et. al (2015) study, and it's also incredibly wrong. A quick google found this as the best summary for why it's wrong: https://www.reddit.com/r/AvgDickSizeDis ... ken_study/

It's not ever close to being 15,000 people, plus it completely mixes up and acts like bone-pressed on and non-bone-pressed are exactly the same. The most accurate averages that's been found based off studies is about 5.5".
