krh9999, you might try Advil instead of Tylenol. As I understand it, Advil reduces both pain and inflamation. That’s what Kramer recommenced to me. Advil/Motrin/Ibuprofen all the same thing.

Days 4 and 5

So the last two days I got off the bed and visiting a couple of friends and family in the area. MY scrotum swelled up to the size of a softball with osme of the fluid going into my penis. I started icing and taking ibuprofen to help with the swelling. The swelling goes down at night. I stopped the antibiotics at Day 3 when they ran out. Also, I really havent been in pain since DAY 1. Just uncomfortable with the swollen scrotum. After having the Elist implant I also remember the swelling.

I'm a little worried about infection. But I actually feel good. Just wondering if my body is overreacting to the whole procedure?

Anyone else have swelling like this?

HI All:

Today is exactly one week. Two days ago, I started taking a hot bath every night to help with the swelling. It definitely helped. Swelling has decreased quite a bit. However, I am still swollen which I believe most of the edema is in the scrotum with the "siliconized" scrotal tissue (injections into scrotum 9 years ago). I expect the swelling to continue over the next few weeks. Also, my dick has always been thick, but also has some swelling. I haven't been taken any pain meds. Also, I've been busy visiting family and stuff for the holidays, so I am moving around a lot. Probably not the best thing. I would definitely take two weeks off for anyone thinking of going back to work sooner. Sitting for long periods of time can be uncomfortable also with the swelling.

The suture is coming off and is healing well.

As for pain, I haven't really had any pain I would consider to be more than a 3 since the first night. I'd say a general soreness mostly. And most of that is where the head meets the cylinders. I haven't been taking any pain meds etc some motrin here and there.

My penis looks short..I know, I know.. give it some time. But the Doc said he put in the AMS 700 CX 24 cm. I did think I would have A LOT more hang. Currently it is at 4". The pics I've attached show current progress.

It is looking good, give it time and you will be OK.

2 Week Update

Ok folks. So doing the two week update. I'm doing ok. Not the best as I thought, but ok. Given my unique circumstances I was expecting there to be alot of swelling, and there was. Mostly in the scrotum. Again, I didn't have alot of pain, just soreness.

So a few days ago, The swelling in the scrotum was still there, and very uncomfortable. I was getting concerned because there was a point when it seemed to be subsiding and then it restarted. My scrotum was the size of a grapefruit. Additionally I started getting a fever, which I felt COULD be a reaction to the implant and possibly the silicone in my scrotum. I wasn't on (and still an not) on antibiotics. I spoke with Dr. Kramer via text, and he was helpful in deciding to keep going the course. The fever dropped that night. BTW, Dr. Kramer has been overseas and has been good at getting back to me immediately.

So at two weeks, the edema has pretty much stopped. The scrotum has become kind of hard so it is hard to get to the pump. Hoping that will soften up and dissipate so I can start cycling.
