My penis is still a bit sensitive; it’s a little uncomfortable when rubbing on clothing. David Archy underwear and looser-than-usual pants have helped. I have started to wear blue jeans again, although a slightly looser pair than usual. Otherwise all else is good.

NotGivingUp,

-To alleviate irritation from rubbing on clothing, I recommend baby socks, size newborn/0-3 months. They are the perfect size for the penis! Just remember to take it off before urinating! Also good for catching any residual or dribble urine. Good luck!

Patience is the key

Hey BmorePaul.

I am about 4.5 weeks. My scrotal incision was healing well.. Today I noticed a little black spot on the incision. I squeezed it and a little pus and drainage came out. That bothered me. When looking closer, I noticed the little black spot was actually part of the dissovable suture. it was still in there. I decided again't pull on it.

Was that something similar to you?

I had small openings that occurred along my incision line that exuded pus. I didn't notice any black areas. If you take a pic and send to Kramer through email or in follow my health, he will respond.

That was what I had. The black was actually part of the absorbable suture sticking out of the incision. Looks like it is healing over well. now. I did speak with Kramer who said to wait and see how it would resolve.

For those of you who might experience a similar issue, here is a photo of what my incision looked liked when I had a reaction to the dissolving sutures. There was also an induration (hardening) just under the incision. It happened as the sutures were dissolving. (My apologies for the unpleasant photo.) As you can imagine, I was worried that I had developed an infection. I texted photos every other day to Dr. Kramer; he repeatedly assured me that it was not an infection, and as it turns out he was correct. It has taken several weeks to completely resolve, however. All is well now. (The incision is longer than usual because of my scroplasty.)

If any of you experience something similar, I would advise you to play it safe and suspect an infection until it has been ruled out by an in-person visit to a trusted urologist. Luckily I was able to be seen by a local urologist who had trained under Kramer.

So, you able to fuck without paying some sort of price of being uncomfortable the following days?
I did not think fucking was a big deal, but Kramer told me I probably pounded too hard, even though I kept telling myself to not go crazy, I probably got carried away:(

My understanding is that a scrotoplasty gives it a better cosmetic appearance?

I requested my scrotoplasty. I’m not sure if Kramer would have done it if I hadn’t asked for it. Yes, it’s a cosmetic procedure.

Did you request this ahead of time or was this something you decided when went in pre-op? Also does he charge extra for this procedure?

4 month update

Very pleased with the outcome. The incision on my testicles has healed nicely—very straight and hardly noticeable. The pump is in a good location and easy to locate. I feel like I was nicely sized—no floppy glans and aesthetically pleasing (as Sheldon once said about his man parts on The Big Bang Theory). I have regained my pre-op length of 16 cm. I cycle once or twice a day, just to the point of starting to feel discomfort. When pumped up for intercourse my penis is very hard; when deflated it looks very natural. I wear David Arch underwear, which is very comfortable and allows me to position my penis in my pants comfortably. For intercourse I don’t pump up 100%; I pump up just until I am good and hard. Very happy I had this surgery.

Can you feel any of the implant tubing when you are in a flaccid or erect state? Are you aware of the reservoir in your body or the transfer of fluid from one location to another ?

yes, I can feel the tubing when flaccid . this, I am told , is normal and is my "new" flaccid. I am not aware of the reservoir or transfer of fluid to or from the reservoir. The reservoir was my primary concern as I have had multiple abdominal surgeries in the past. I am pleased that placement of the reservoir has been no problem at all.

Cool, I wonder though about the OP?
