I always thought if you are using the top guys who ever they may be, they would just use what ever implant model they felt would give that particular patient the best outcome depending on your current situation and penile make up. I didn’t know you had a choice... lol

Ok...WHEN is this pre-op discussion supposed to take place?
I know that I have to *get* pre-op done (bloodwork and physical), but as for talking....I did that with him last month, when we talked about my issue. All we talked about was my choice and when to schedule, so what am I missing?
Next week, after my pre-op is done with my Primary, will email him through portal of a before surgery pic (never thought that cock pic, no face, I took for laughs will come in handy 7 years down the road).
Should I send him a 'before' pic? The 1st Dr. I showed him pics of cock from my phone, but this time around, never had a chance. Is it recommended to send or show a 'before' pic?

You arrive at the surgical center about 1 1/2 hour before your surgery is scheduled. They put in an IV, get your vitals, seen by anesthesia. He comes in and you discuss the plan, make sure everyone is on the same page and then you get implanted.

He’s a really cool guy… I originally wanted the Titan… he had a lot of things because of my past medical history that he thought he should point out… i’m glad he did… He said that in the end, the choice was mine but he highly highly recommended against the one that I wanted… I eventually chose to go with the AMS… Not because he sold me on it but because he reminded me of the risk/rewards…

Whitecane, I put off the implant for years. When I finally decided, the 1st Doc just said he will be putting in the AMS, no details. I put my manhood in his hands, literally and figuratively. Showed him before pics to help him decide what was best for me, but what I did not do was research HIM.
2 weeks and I get the salvage by Dr. Kramer and I hope for the best. I sent him a pic since he and I never met before the fuck up!
Hope you guys do follow up on here, I have a laptop, so I think I can do the same. I wish you the best.

I do have to say though, that after surgery, you will have a very uncomfortable feeling, but I hope not, of your Perineum pushing up into your guts, so I suggest you bring along, or buy, a thick cushion to sit on the plane with. Bring all your paperwork, make sure you have all your documentation of the surgery. TSA can be a pain (no pun) on the day you travel. A week, IMHO, is too early to travel because of this pain. Lifting is out, so I hope you are traveling with someone, or not taking any luggage with you.

What were the risk/rewards that he reminded you of? Why did you want the Titan? What was it that ultimately made you go with the AMS?

The risks/rewards he warned me of were all pretty much pertaining to my transplants and the risk of infection because of my past medical history… I wanted the titan because it is A little bit closer to the instant gratification I wanted… I knew that I was going to have to cycle the thing to get my length back and that I was going to be really really short for a while… honestly, I’m half of Russian dissent… Patience is not my strong suit…lol... I New the cycling thing was going to bother me… It is bothering me LOL… I knew the Titan would not be ready right off of the bat but I knew I’d be closer to a manageable size at least… The huge flaccid didn’t hurt either… i’ve said since the beginning though that my transplants and their survival was the most important thing… with the infection rate being more than double in my case and with the risk of losing a gift that someone literally lost his life for and ever having a functional penis again, I went with the LG ex to play it safe… I’m just cycling every day and going with the flow… My penis is the size of my thumb when it’s hard but hey… I’m alive, brother

Thanks for sharing that Whitecane ... I didn’t realize the other issues you were dealing with but glad things are going in the right direction! So you are saying that the AMS is better for reducing infection rates ? I thought I read somewhere that they had some kind of coating on them. Don’t remember such thing for the Titan.

Coloplast Titan also has antibiotic treatment. They come sunken in an antibiotic solution.
