New Guy Baltimore

Newly implanted AMS 700 CX by Dr. Kramer 10/22/2019. Really surprised by how well things are going. Just some minor swelling now in my scrotum and bruising in left groin for the reservoir and on my scrotum. Some questions for the group. It feels like there is some "out pouching" along my shaft, like weakness of the cavernous tissue? I don't have my first follow-up appointment until 11/19/2019. I have not been given any instructions other than "no sexual stimulation" until first follow-up visit. I've done some minor exploring with the pump. A few inflation pumps and then pressing the deflation button. It gets hard and then gets soft. It has not been in a flaccid state since pre-op. Even tried squeezing my shaft, but remains like a flag pole, just a not as girthy. I'm assuming this is still related to post-op swelling? Just waiting two more weeks for follow-up is difficult for my patience level. Appreciate any thoughts.

I'm a former B-more guy. (my hometown, escaped in1965 :) )
Did you get the CX version?
Mine feels somewhat stiff all the time.
I also usually have a bulge on my shaft.
I guess it's a bend (dog ear).

Twins!! I was getting my LG ex installed that very day that very office! I doubt we were there at the same time but I was the creepy looking guy with the white cane… Anyway, for a week after surgery, the skin on my penis shaft felt like it could easily just be slipped off for some reason… It almost felt hard as a rock but was less than half of its previous size… I called Dr. Kramer about all of this and it is all extremely normal… I also had an issue with the inflation block sticking to the top of my scrotum… Also completely normal… The answer for pretty much everything unless it’s signs of infection is that it’s all part of the healing process… If you notice chills, nausea, fever, different colors, worsening pain, these are things to worry about… I haven’t messed with inflation or deflation of the device and actually have not even manipulated the pump… I hope in some strange way, this answer helps you… If there is any concern, the doctor is extremely open to answering questions… If he doesn’t know, he knows who will! Be well and happy sexing!

That's a little scary. You want your tunica to be smooth as it was before the implant. I would call about it.

Be careful.
"Play with it too soon and you'll break it."
Good luck. Dr Kramer has a stellar reputation and you are in good hands. He answers questions by phone or email very quickly...he did for me and I wasn't even a patient yet.

Thanks lost sheep. Just trying to see how the actual pump feels inside compared to the demo model that they sent home with me.

Hey B'more, Laurel here.
Had mine done in August, but ran into a problem...infection.

Still too early for you to do anything. I could not even touch my balls, but that may be due to the infection.
Anyway, Dr. will let you know if things are going well, MY thing would be to make sure your pump is moving around, like your balls.
Eventually, I have been told, the dog ear will vanish with time.
After the visit, he will tell you the next step is getting familiar with your pump: where the bulb is, where the deflation button is, where everything is connected.
Next visit is the one you will look forward to, lol. Pumping up, and deflating...getting closer to the goal!!!

If you belong to a gym, stay away from the steam room, and stay with the sauna.
Good luck!

Good luck...I have no complaints. Technically a great surgeon. At ease attitude. Felt completely comfortable.
