Antidepressants

Has anyone on this site been on antidepressants before implant and did affect your size. The reason that I am asking is because some antidepressants shrink your penis while taking them then once off things go back to normal

I know some antidepressants can inhibit erections and inhibit libido (either of which could lead to secondary effect of size loss if you don't get erections for months) , but know of none that can actually shrink size directly as a primary effect.

So, I think the answer is "no" except over a long period of time, but that can be mitigated by getting erections by other means (injections, suppositories, pills or vacuum device).

I have been on antidepressants for two months following a one week stay on a psychiatric ward due to a failed suicide attempt. My attempt was on part due to my erectile dysfunction issues so I cannot talk about how they affect you in that way since I was fucked up beforehand. For me the most noticeable side effect sexually wise has been delayed ejaculation, sometimes I would try to masturbate for up to one hour without been able to reach orgasm, not fun. Libido commonly takes a hit as well, but again, I don't have a first hand experience here since mine was already extremely low before I started taking them.

I have never heard of shrinking as a potential side effect of antidepressants. Talk with your psychiatrist if you are concerned about any potential side effects, there is a pretty wide range of them, so if one does not work for you or affects you in any way he should be able to switch you to another one you can tolerate better.

I have taken escitalopram and venlafaxine. All in all I would rather be off them tbh since they don't do shit for me.
